[Issues] 4/10 (Thu) Post-Update Known Issue (Added on 4/11 08:30) [56]



Hello Heirs,
This is GM Dominiel.
 

Following the update on 4/10 (Thu), an issue was discovered in the game.

Please see below for more detailed information.

1. An issue where [Inexperienced Victorika] is unobtainable after clearing [1-6. A New Companion] in 6th World Episode.
 
โ†’ We are currently looking into the cause of this issue and working on a fix.
 
โ†’ We will do our best to resolve this issue as soon as possible.


2. An issue where, for a certain period of time, prices for [Robin's Coupon Mystic Pack 4] appeared lower in some currencies on the App Store.
โ†’ For Heirs who purchased the pack during the affected period, the difference in price will be recovered in the form of in-game currency.
โ†’ The issue has now been resolved, and purchases can be made at the intended price. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to your gameplay experience.

We will continue to inform our Heirs regarding these issues via this notice.


We will continue to update you all on this issue by updating this announcement and we will do our best to provide better service for all of our Heirs in the future.

I am no lawyer but im pretty sure its illegal to advertise a product for a price, sell it for that price, complete the sale, and then after change your mind and claim more money for the sale.
There are several consumer protection laws that protect buyers from this up to and including FALSE ADVERTISING.


Imagine you car dealership calling you and saying "hey, that car you bought, yeah we accidentally sold it to you for too little. We are calling your bank and taking an additional 40% of the selling price from your account"


Smilegate needs to roll back this decision ASAP.

Issue: 04.10.2025
Whole story maps from episodes 1 to 5 vanished without a trace. Now, there are only lifeless UI mission list without interactivity. What happened to the game? Why did you remove already released and polished content? Why did you massacred my favorite "play the anime" game?

Edit: Second Issue: "Pub" screen is no longer interactable, you can't access shop by clicking on Garro, you can't change your lobby team by clicking on them, You just deleted whole interactivity with it.

P.S. I found even funnier that -> new Krau Event HAS A MAP for traveling.

I miss the old story road building.  Now it's just images posted onto the screen and book scroll through the story. The map building and tavern interactivity was what made this game feel more real. Now it reminds of Outerplane with no world building and just stages on a book. Many of us would just want to see map building instead of this boring book UI. SG devs pls do better...

I say report this to Google Play for false advertising. They are breaking the law by doing this, especially now in the EU, where they're tightening regulations on monetization. Not only is this a very anti-consumer move and a huge L for their player base, but it's also illegal. Smilegate, change it now, or reports will happen. I suggest everyone do it and report this.

Yeah smilegate if you follow through with this bull crap and punishing your players, YOUR PAYING PLAYERS, for your own stupid mistake, me and many of my friends are done with this game. It is very dissapointing for you to be this greedy, first with the overly priced skin for a PVE unit. And now you want to break laws and punish your own playerbase for your own mistake. Good luck being greedy and killing your game and playerbase. Good job scamgates! โœจโœจ

Hey returning player here seems like some events are missing for me ( returning players check in event, arky event, etc) or have they been removed from the game 

How are they recovering in game currency?? Are they setting us to negative mystic medals because they messed up?

Yeah, they are taking whatever skystones that equal the amount that was lost in the transaction. The pack was $100, bought for 60. So the equivalent for those is a $30 pack (900) and a $10 pack (300). Then take away 1200 skystones, and if you don't have enough, then you would be in the negative. 

Ok...wtf...you killed labyrinth, and i thought mostly killed adventure...so im doin the ******* list thing, still cant find proof of courage, ps they help me advance by buying guild stuff... so tryin to do trust tasks, but every fight is closed...i found 1 open, and its the dragon one and costs 16 energy...why the hell did you do so much bs all at once...shoulda did one change at a time...you completely obliterated the nub experience...still get some of the crazy boss agrivation, but 'was' havin fun...was...

Should just take the L and give people the $40 difference in resources stop being greedy pigs for once and take responsibility for your own error. How are you going to turned around and take skystones away from players like it was their fault. How stupid do you have to be to think this is the solution like pls wake up are we bronze tier brain devs????

Why not just remove the contents from the purchased packs and issue a full refund? You made a mistake, undo the transaction and fix it. Stealing players Skystones because "it's our game, we do what we want" is cold.

If 1 player purchased a pack at 99$ out of 1,000, versus even 2 people out of 1,000 at 59$, you still made more profit on your goods than you normally would have. I'm sure the cost reduction pulled in even more than just 2 out of 1,000 people too. More people purchased packs BECAUSE of the lowered price. On top of that, it's data. It's not like you had a limited supply of apples or oranges and need to recoup costs. You have an infinite supply of data to sell, and you want to charge players over YOUR mistake? If you follow through with this, you are shooting yourselves in the foot and I doubt it would be something your company can recover from. Just take the boost in sales and leave the players alone. Own your mistake, and learn from it. Players like cheaper packs. Selling cheaper packs at more volume is better than selling expensive packs at low volume.

I love Epic Seven and support the game by buying your packs. It's one of the best gachas I've ever played. I'm one of your biggest defenders.

Yet, this decision is wrong for the customer.

You're penalizing players due to something out of their control.

The correct solution is to issue refunds instead of taking back currency. It's not the players' fault.

People bought the pack because they thought it was a great deal. How would they know it was priced incorrectly?

I respectfully request that SmileGate reconsiders their approach to the mispriced packs. Not only was it NOT the player's fault for purchasing the product, you are effectively bait-and-switching what we purchased. We were promised through the game's UI, that if we spent X dollars on a pack that we'd get X resources. If you remove any part of those resources we got, the players are NOT getting what we were promised.

Yes the pack was mispriced. That was a mistake. But whose mistake? Why are you trying to punish the players for a mistake that is not theirs? Additionally, why are you trying to punish payers who are willing to spend real money on the game? I believe this is a huge mistake that SmileGate is about to make and I have a couple of alternatives:


1. Do nothing

2. Rollback the entire transaction, including refunds

Just to let you all know, if you do end up taking the skystones from me because of something that was not my fault, I will not be making any more purchases ever again. I paid for a pack I thought was a good deal, how am I supposed to know other packs in the future that are also good deals are actually just going to take more from me again? If you go through with this, you'll be losing the trust of those who are willing to support your game financially.

You messed up on the price of pack 4, not us. I should not have to be punished because you screwed up. I fulfilled my obligation in the form of purchase. The same for anyone else who purchased the pack before the price update. You cannot punish anyone who purchased the pack before you fixed your mistake. 

Iยดm thinking that is this worth of my time anymore, played like a 5 years this game. This new patch is just confusing, like I had farmed something like 12K AP and now they are gone? This is evolving obiously, but I just ask that I get something in return. Like something more than 30 flakes :) but you decide if you wanยดt to push players off the game.

Holy cow bunch of people complaining all the time. Nobodyโ€™s ever happy with anything ๐Ÿ˜…

The update is awful... No soul, no feeling, no charm. What the hell is this new UI design? How to earn AP? Where's everything from AP stores? Give me back the features I loved in this game! 

Where does my 2nd selective summon dissappear to? Before this major update i could still find selective summon in summon page, but now it's gone. I'm currently at Chapter 3, 7-1 and i still haven't gotten my 2nd selective summon. NOOOO!!! My Mort!

There are little pluses above my comps why...but no more little 'n' on new gear...which by the way is almost impossible to look thru on mobile
