These tips assume you are running Schniel, the BiS front line soulweaver for this HoT Rotation
The ideal team consists of a front line Schniel, a healer, an aoe debuffer with provoke, redirected provoke, or silence, and a high attack back line damage dealer. All of them should be ice, earth, or fire.
An example team is Schniel, Mascot Hazel, Yufine and Cermia.
General tips:
- Schniel is the main damage dealer and should have as much critical hit chance, critical damage, and attack as possible with enough speed for your specific team.
- Schniel borrows the back line hero's attack stat and deals additional damage with his buffed fixed damage. Combined with his S3 resetting each turn in the exhaust/break phase, he should deal the most damage.
- To maximize damage, the backline should be on Cruel Mischief while Schiel should use POS or a damage boosting artifact, such as Symbol of Unity. The debuffer and healer should use a team attack increasing artifact like Card of Small Miracles or Warhorn.
- The back line should have as much attack as possible, potentially even sacrificing cc and cd as the they should attack as little as possible in the break phase.
- A successful break phase should consist of 5 or more Schniel S3s.
- Resources (focus and fighting spirit), counterattacks and dual attacks are disabled for the battle.
- Plague, the current hp tick damage, cannot kill your heroes
- Only direct hits (ddr's backline single target and the aoe/single target from the adds) can kill heroes.
- DDRโs backline single target attack deals regular damage and can be mitigated with defense.
- The normal add aoe attack is based on current hp, but it can still kill when Heroes are low enough.
- Due to the constant tick damage, heal/barrier/defense buff timing is more important than heal amount although heals are necessary to survive.
- After the boss applies poison, you need to use your aoe debuffer before the adds move or they will most likely kill a hero.
- If done correctly, you should enter the break phase after the adds gain an extra turn and do a very low damage aoe attack.
