This is Epic Seven.
We would like to provide information on the season infographic for the World Arena Contention Season competition, which ended on August 24, 2024. We extend our gratitude to all Heirs who enjoyed the World Arena this season.
■ Pre-Ban The pre-ban rate here refers to the percentage of matches in which the Hero was pre-banned among all matches. For example, if a Hero’s pre-ban rate is 50%, it means the Hero had been pre-banned for half of all the matches counted.
■ First Pick "First Pick" refers to the first Hero selected by the player assigned the First Pick role, with one hero being recorded per match.For example, if a hero has a 30% First Pick rate, it means that in all matches, the First Pick player chose that hero first approximately 30% of the time. From the following data, you can also confirm the post-pick ban rate and win rate of the Heroes.
■ Pick The term 'Pick' here refers to the Heroes selected by the two players for a match and includes their First Picks. If the pick rate is 50%, it means the Hero has been drafted by either player for half of all the matches. |

3. Overall Thoughts
The current Contention Season was the first regular season to introduce the Ban Protection system. It was a season where various new Heroes that penetrated the existing meta, alongside those who emerged through balance adjustments, shaped a diverse meta.
Laia, who had shown strong performance since the previous season, continued to be a key Hero this season. Heroes who dominated the matches with fast tempo also gained attention. On the other hand, Heroes like Last Rider Krau and Mediator Kawerik saw a significant decrease in influence compared to the previous season. The performance of Heroes such as Death Dealer Ray, Ambitious Tywin, and Nahkwol stood out, and Dragon Bride Senya, introduced mid-season, as well as Blood Moon Haste, who saw increased usage post-balance adjustment, also made notable appearances in the new meta.
Our Epic Seven team is reviewing a variety of measures to provide World Arena content in a more advanced direction, taking into account the feedback you provided on the Ban Protection system and the current battle trends.

New Moon Luna: higher winrate than lua at her peak. The fact they don't nerf this unit is absurd. Literally just remove her skill null. She doesn't need it. She only has 2 soft counters in the game and they aren't even used...
Based on the newest units you have released im actually convinced you gave up on balancing this game and only push out insanely broken units for a quick buck...
Different archetypes create diversity. Meanwhile, Laia is the complete opposite.
She is a soul weaver, a tank and a warrior. You can use her in 90%+ of games without even thinking. Heroes like this make the meta repetitive and unwelcoming; Same goes for ml Landy and Jenua.

with how much ignore efr and resetting skills specifically nak, on top of injury remove the whole point of having healers in your team.
