Following the Balance Adjustment notice on 9/12 (Thu), we have gathered various opinions from our Heirs.
After careful review, we have decided to exclude the 5★ Moonlight Hero, Pirate Captain Flan, from the adjustments initially planned for September 12.
Additionally, we will change the imprint concentration of the 5★ Moonlight Hero, Judge Kise, from Effectiveness to Critical Hit Chance.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these changes and ask for your understanding.




Hello. This is Epic Seven.

We sincerely appreciate the interest and support of all of our Heirs who have continued their adventures with us in Epic Seven.

 

With these balance adjustments, we plan to implement changes to 6 Heroes and 2 Artifacts. These changes are scheduled to take effect following the update on 9/12.

 

1. Balance Adjustment Targets

 

With this balance adjustment, we have made some changes to certain Heroes and Artifacts that haven't been seeing very much use.

The details of the balance adjustment are as shown below.

Attacks all enemies with a scythe, dispelling all buffs before applying a 100% chance to decrease Hit Chance for 2 turns and an 75% chance to decrease Defense for 2 turns, and increases Combat Readiness of the caster by 25% per target.

This skill cannot trigger a counterattack.

Judge Kise's dependence on Soulburn has been reduced.

End of Evil's Cannot Counterattack effect will be replaced with Decrease Hit Chance, but it no longer triggers counterattacks. Additionally, it now boosts Combat Readiness based on the number of targets, granting 100% Combat Readiness when facing four enemies, enabling faster turn acquisition. Furthermore, her Soulburn now ignores the target's Effect Resistance instead of granting an extra turn, making it easier to apply debuffs when using Soulburn. As End of Evil now grants up to 100% Combat Readiness, its cooldown is increased by one turn. To offset the easier skill chaining, the Soul gain from Wave of Light is reduced by one. Moreover, the damage increase based on the number of targets for Wave of Light is removed, with a slight increase to its base damage as compensation.

Gains 40 Fighting Spirit at the start of the first battle.

After an ally suffers an extra attack, counterattack, or Dual Attack, dispels all debuffs inflicted on the caster and increases Combat Readiness by 20% before activating Shine!. The effect after being attacked can only be activated once every 2 turns.

Shine!: Emits light, increasing Defense and Effect Resistance of the caster for 2 turns, and gains 50 Fighting Spirit.

After an ally suffers an Extra Attack, Counterattack, or Dual Attack, dispels all debuffs inflicted on the caster and activates Shine!. Can only activate once every 2 turns.

Shine!: Emits light, increasing Defense and Effect Resistance of the caster for 2 turns and increases Combat Readiness by 20% before resetting skill cooldown.

I Am The Victor! (Before)

I Am The Victor! (After)

Attacks all enemies with a swordstorm. Penetrates the target's Defense by 50%. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's Defense.

Lionheart Cermia was designed to excel against enemies that primarily use Extra Attacks, Counterattacks, or Dual Attacks. However, with the introduction of Heroes that constrain resource acquisition, her effectiveness has diminished.

In this update, we aim to address this weakness by changing Lionheart Cermia's skill mechanics from a Fighting Spirit acquisition/consumption system to a cooldown-based system.

Through this change, we hope that Lionheart Cermia will once again be able to shine in various environments.

 

Pirate Captain Flan

Execution (After)

Attacks the enemy with a gun, with a 75% chance to steal one buff. At the end of the turn, detonates burn and bomb effects inflicted on the target.

Soulburn (20): Grants an extra turn.

Soulburn (10): Increases effect chance to 100% and decreases Defense of the target for 2 turns.

Effectiveness increases by 50%.

When attacking, cannot trigger a critical hit.

Redirects 30% of damage suffered by the caster to the foremost ally. When more than one damage sharing effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied.

After using Execution, when the caster has a buff, activates Hunt. Hunt can only be activated once every 2 turns.

Hunt: Raises morale of all allies, increasing Combat Readiness by 15%.

Increases Critical Hit Resistance by 70%.

When attacking, cannot trigger a critical hit.

When the enemy has a buff after using a skill, activates Time to Pillage. Can only activate once every 3 turns.

Time to Pillage: Grants Pillage and increased Effectiveness to all allies for 2 turns.


Pillage: After attacking, steals one buff from the target. Applies to Heroes only.


Pirate Captain Flan is being improved to enhance her contribution to allies and her effectiveness in prolonged battles.

Scourge of the Sea's damage redirect effect with the foremost ally is removed and replaced with a new effect that increases her Critical Hit Resistance by 70%.

Additionally, Effectiveness increase effect is removed, but through Time to Pillage, it increases the Pillage and Effectiveness effects of all allies. Time to Pillage will activate when the enemy has a buff after using a skill, adding more variables to the battle.

Execution's buff-stealing effect is replaced with a Decrease Defense effect on the target. Moreover, the Soulburn effect now increases the chance of this effect, allowing for more aggressive strategies

 

1-1-2. Covenant / 5★

Blood Banquet (Before)

At the start of the turn, curses the enemy with the highest Attack for 1 turn.

When the ally in the back row except for the caster receives lethal damage, consumes 30% of the caster's current Health to grant immortality and vampirism to the target for 1 turn.

Can only be activated once every 4 turns, and this effect does not stack with other passive effects of the same name.

At the start of the turn, curses the enemy with the highest Attack for 1 turn.

When the ally in the back row except for the caster receives lethal damage, consumes 30% of the caster's current Health to dispel all debuffs from the target and grant immortality and vampirism for 1 turn. Abigail's overall usability has been improved.

When a backline ally other than herself takes lethal damage, she will now cleanse all debuffs and grant them Immortality and Vampirism, significantly enhancing their survivability.

Additionally, Scarlet Garden now increases its Effectiveness by 50%, making it easier to apply its effects against enemies with high Effect Resistance.

Attacks the enemy by battering them, with a 75% chance to decrease Defense for 1 turn. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

At the start of the turn, has a 100% chance to grant Mind's Eye to the caster for 1 turn.

After using Eradicate, when the caster is granted Mind's Eye, activates Trample as an extra skill.

Trample: Attacks the enemy by striking from above, inflicting injuries. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health. The severity of injuries increases proportional to damage dealt. Injuries decrease max Health of the target by up to 10% every time this skill is used.

Increases Critical Hit Chance by 20%.             

At the start of the turn, has a 100% chance to grant Mind's Eye to the caster for 1 turn.

After using Eradicate, when the caster is granted Mind's Eye, activates Trample as an extra skill.

Trample: Attacks the enemy by striking from above, and increases Combat Readiness of the caster by 15%. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

Mind's Eye: Increases Effectiveness by 50%.

Mind's Eye: When attacking, inflicts injuries. Injuries increase proportional to damage dealt and can reduce Max Health of the target by up to 10% every time this skill is used.

 

Alencia's ability to inflict injuries has been improved.

Eradicate's Soulburn effect, which previously increased the duration of Decrease Defense, now ignores the target's Effect Resistance. Additionally, Mind's Eye effect is modified to inflict injuries on the target with each attack, dealing up to 10% of the target's Max Health.

As a result, Trample's inflict injury effect is replaced with an increase in her Combat Readiness. Moreover, Noble Blood now also increases Critical Hit Chance. These changes are expected to improve her turn acquisition and increase the frequency with which she can inflict injuries on enemies.


 

In line with this balance adjustment, Alencia's Exclusive Equipment Option 3 will be adjusted as follows.

Increases Effectiveness of the caster for 2 turns when using Genesis.

Decreases Combat Readiness of the target by 20% when using Genesis.

 

With the changes to Alencia's Exclusive Equipment, players will be able to change the effects on this Exclusive Equipment for 2 weeks following the balance adjustment. The effect change is only applicable to Exclusive Equipment that was affected by the update and does not include Equipment obtained after the update. When a player changes the effects, other stats of the Exclusive Equipment will remain unchanged. Effect changes cannot be reversed.

 

 

1-1-3. Moonlight / 4★

 

Shooting Star Achates

Resurrection Magic (Awakened) (Before)

Resurrection Magic (After)

Revives a dead ally with recovery magic and grants immortality for 1 turn. When the target is not dead, grants immortality and two random buffs for 3 turns.

With healing magic, dispels all debuffs from an ally and the caster and increases both Health ratios to the higher of the two before additionally recovering Health. Shooting Star Achates's reliability of her Resurrection Magic has been improved.

The effect that previously granted a random buff to a living ally is changed to grant an Attack increase instead. Additionally, when reviving a fallen ally, the skill now also grants an Attack increase.

Furthermore, the AI has been adjusted so that in Auto-Battle, the skill will prioritize allies with the highest Attack. The Awakening skill has been changed from Resurrection Magic to Sparkling Star, allowing her to grant Attack increase and Immortality to allies through Resurrection Magic, even without being awakened.

 

1-2. Artifact Balance Adjustments

Otherworldly Machinery now also increases Critical Hit Chance, making it more effective when equipped by Heroes who focus primarily on AoE attacks.

 

Fan of Light and Dark

After using a non-attack skill twice, increases Combat Readiness of the ally with the highest Attack by 10-20% and has a 35-70% chance to increase Critical Hit Damage for 2 turns.

Fan of Light and Dark's chance to increase Critical Hit Damage has been improved to 100%, allowing you to more reliably benefit from the Artifact's effects.


These are the scheduled balance adjustments and improvements for the update on 9/12.

Another update without listening to the community, but when it was convenient for you to listen to the neighboring community you did, pathetic!

You have completely ruined ML Kise with another pointless rework. You nerfed her %27 eff imprint to %17 crit.

She cant counter heroes she used to somewhat counter like ML Arby due to  her new S2 being %100 Cr instead of additional turn. Thanks for making her even more pointless in arena..

The Judge Kise changes seem to make her worse now. Before, she was a good counter to Arbiter Vildred, but now, if there are four enemies and she kills him with her S2, his revival and combat readiness boost happens before hers, and he kills her before she can perform her S3. Also, other units who get a combat readiness boost after you perform her S2 get a chance to go before her S3 as well. This is bull crap. They have basically nerfed a unit without giving us anything for it.

Honestly I could care less about the argument over whether the pflan changes were a buff or a nerf. However I will say this: Why are people so adamant about trying to bring another debuffer into a meta that already has very good debuffers? It's astounding to me how many people who want the change to go through probably haven't thought about how much they're gonna hate it whether it's a good change or not.

Merci de respecter les joueurs qui n'ont pas le même point de vue que vous et ce peu importe de leur classement. En quoi l’opinion des joueurs les mieux classés a-t-elle plus de valeur que celle des joueurs en dessous d’eux ? D'autant plus que certains d'entre eux n'ont tout simplement pas votre matériel pour se permettre de performer comme vous ou n'ont ni le temps ni l'envie de s'efforcer comme vous le faites les rta ! Certains de ces joueurs sont là aussi depuis le début et possèdent une bonne connaissance du jeu ainsi qu'une capacité d'analyse et de réflexion qui vous surpasse ou peut-être vous égale pour certains d'entre eux !

Je vois certains d'entre vous qui sont juste là à regarder les performances de tel ou tel joueur ou les statistiques de victoires des héros joués en rta pour justifier leur raisonnement... Mais mdr au fond vous n'avez pas de cerveau et vous copiez juste ceux qui sont meilleurs mieux classé que toi ? Lorsque ces derniers trouvent des stratégies pour jouer et gagner avec des héros dits injouables, vous êtes probablement le premier à les acclamer mais il ne vous vient pas à l'esprit qu'il n'y a pas besoin d'être empereur en plus pour pouvoir exploiter efficacement certains héros ou savoir mettre en place des stratégies qui ne sont pas basées sur la méta... En fait c'est plutôt vous qui devriez remettre en question votre façon de penser avant de vous permettre d'être aussi désagréable envers ceux qui ne veulent pas du changement de smilegate souhaité concernant le Capitaine Phlan !

Oh great. Months of waiting for a balance patch only to see a few characters on the list, and now one gets taken away. How terrible can things get? Are we really going to continue a quarterly balance patch with just a few units on it? It should be Minimum 10 characters each time.

OMG SG , most of people want this balance patch change to this way . WHY ARE YOU UNDO THIS BUFF BECAUSE OF SMALL USER WANT TO KEEP P.FLAN BAD IN THIS META ????

Yeah might help but this people want old darkflan are truly lucky that extra turn counter is just moon bunny for a while but once sg start releasing the same of this extraturn counter  and a buff or rework dragon king sharun dont say u want to get this rework of dark flan again and u guys thought darkflan can do all the work bruhh its 4vs4 unit if u really want to rely on dark flan only might aswell just used her without any other units (4vs1)oh right u need those 3 other units u have to bring tagahel books?? So what its a 4vs4 for you or its a 4vs1 (of course theres guild 3vs3 also) look at ddr from focus to normal people hate his change when they looked at the balanced note before but now what? People tried his new style and it seems he became an instant Stier and nobody complained… just hope some of these complainers wont regret once sg released extra turn counters and stun bomb counters 

Epic seven 6th anniversary is the best way to start to celebrate! thx for alot of free stuff and include for new players to start l! But this balance patch was ruined by a couple of person who commented before and now its gone caused they know they cant handle the roasting marathon which means for those who want this balance patch to go further is more than those who hate it… i would be not just me every one who wants this balanced patch of DarkFlan to be continued…. Would really  be happy and this time make sure it continues…  if every one hates the balance dont but if someone wants this change more then consider it continued if u see on japanserver balanced patch no one mostly complained about it i look at china server some of those but not alot includes at korea server not alot ONLY Global is the one who is alot to complain about.(of course cause it global)please this was just the start of the 6th anniversary’s but ruined by lack of understanding people so make it a good anniversary

Since those two (of remaining six) person who still play the current pflan deleted their comments and more people wants her get buff, why just revert the 9/3 change and give her adjustment plan to the next update?

For P Flan Just don't change S1 and S2 and add pillage to S3 and all happy and if you are crazy add Def break to S1 removing dispell and done.


This is also what happens when dislikes are removed, people still can get roasted to the ends of the earth. So yeah how about that coming back for a change?

Chaofunon top of that the devs easily catered to them like bruh...a revision would've been the better option over canceling it😞 

My suggestion would be to let the s1 of pcflan as it was and add an ee to change here passive effect to the "buffed" new version so that both sides can play the way they want with her. 

Despite Flan patch being controversial, we players still need it to be tested in the game. since you have done it, just give it a try!

SG please give us the Pirate Captain Flan changes!!!!
