E7WC 2024 Finals Player Lineup Update

We regret to inform you that the top 3 player lineup for the E7WC 2024 Finals on 8/31 (Sat) has undergone a change.

For the offline finals of E7WC 2024, players must be able to visit Korea on the scheduled date and have no disqualifying reasons for overseas travel as per the tournament regulations.
Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, Nezuko will be unable to visit Korea on the day of the finals.

As a result, Nezuko will be disqualified, and Hazamarei, as the next in line, will advance to the finals, which will be held on 8/31 (Sat), at V.SPACE in Seoul, South Korea.

The match schedule has been adjusted as follows due to the player lineup change.

We are doing our utmost to ensure a smooth tournament operation for the many Heirs visiting the offline venue and for the players who have participated in the tournament for an extended period.
We informed all participants of the tournament rules and the requirement to attend the offline finals several times before the tournament began.
However, we regretfully ask for your understanding regarding the unfortunate situation where a player cannot continue in the tournament.

We will do our best to ensure that the next in line attends and that the match proceeds without any issues.

Nezuko didn't think he would get this far or just poor planning on his side. The rules of the finals was placed wayyyyy b4 the open matches was available to everyone. so imo dont go full-retard nezuko :)

Background: correct me if I'm wrong - but what I saw on some streams.

For some clarity - Nezuko on twitch writes on a word-doc how his "superior" (work boss) didn't approve his "leave" so he couldn't go to korea. So I am guessing he had no annual leave. Nezuko is in Vietnam. With the Visa, he did have it but Nezuko only complained he wasn't able to get $125 refund on it.

Kevstrife twitch mentioned Nezuko is nearly a full F2P player but has spent a $100 on a pack early on so I'm guessing around 2019.

Those that picked Nezuko are in a bad spot otherwise.

I rooted for Nezuko because he has shown to be a great player BUT I will not ignore his blatant negligence for his visa or planning. The registration rules emphasized physical participation for the finals, whether he didn’t anticipate going far into the tournament does not matter.

He doesn't want the prize money he's disqualified out of, just the frame.

He reached the rank needed for the frame, I don't see how anybody can object, please give it to him SG!

I feel bad for Nezuko but he has proven to be a good player, so I respect him. I was hoping to see him for the final but it seems that won't happen. I hope that his personal circumstances are not serious.

This is fair tbh. Ever since last years cheater marguerite was exposed, this was a rule all the participants knew about. Not having his visa ready in time, or not being able to travel is his own fault.
