Hello. This is Epic Seven.

We sincerely appreciate the interest and support of all of our Heirs who have continued their adventures with us in Epic Seven.

 

With these balance adjustments, we plan to implement changes to 7 Heroes and 4 Artifacts. These changes are scheduled to take effect following the update on 7/18.

 

1. Balance Adjustment Targets

 

With this balance adjustment, we have made some changes to certain Heroes and Artifacts that haven't been seeing very much use.

The details of the balance adjustment are as shown below.

Damage Dealt Increased

 

Remnant Violet was designed to survive and attack simultaneously with his Evasion Increase buff, but as more Heroes with non-attack skills that can dispel buffs have been introduced, his effectiveness has gradually dropped.

Now, instead of generating the Evasion Increase effect every turn, the Evasion chance is permanently increased by up to 50%, allowing him to maintain his Evasion ability even if enemies dispel the buff. Additionally, Sword Flash and Massacre's damage have been increased, allowing him to deal greater damage to enemies. Through these adjustments, we hope to see Remnant Violet thriving in various environments once again without being easily countered by enemy buff dispels.

Attacks the enemy with mana, and increases Speed of the caster for 1 turn.

When more than one damage reduction effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied. This effect applies to Heroes only.

At the start of the first battle, fully recovers Focus, and at the end of the turn, gains 1 Focus. When Focus is 3 or higher, immune to debuffs.

When attacked, if expected damage suffered is equivalent to 30% or more of max Health, consumes 1 Focus, decreasing damage suffered by 70%. When more than one damage reduction effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied. This effect applies to Heroes only.

Nature's Judgment (Before)

Attacks all enemies by bringing forth the power of nature. Recovers Health of all allies, before increasing Attack of the caster. Amount recovered increases proportional to the target's max Health. Increased Attack effect can stack up to three times.

Sylvan Sage Vivian was designed to excel in sustained battles by using Focus to greatly reduce enemy damage. However, her vulnerability to debuffs and the decrease in her additional damage and resource gains have caused her effectiveness to decline.

In this adjustment, we aim to maintain Sylvan Sage Vivian's original design while adding new strengths to allow her to exert significant power in specific situations.

First, Insight will now grant maximum Focus at the start of the first battle, and if her Focus is 3 or higher, she gains an immunity to all debuffs, significantly improving her

ability to manage debuffs. Additionally, she now gains Focus at the end of each turn, and the health threshold for reducing incoming damage by consuming Focus has been

slightly increased.

Nature's Judgment's inconsistent utility and usage frequency have also been revised. The cooldown reduction through Insight has been removed, but the base cooldown has

been reduced from 6 turns to a maximum of 4 turns, allowing for more consistent use of Nature's Judgment. Furthermore, the Attack increase effect with each use of

Nature's Judgment is now provided through Mana Attunement, and instead of increasing Critical Hit Damage of allies, damage has been increased with the number of

targets, allowing for greater damage to all enemies in necessary situations. Additionally, Mana Attunement's damage will also be increased. With these improvements, we

hope to see Sylvan Sage Vivian, with her new strengths, thriving on the battlefield once again.

Yuna

Homing Laser (Before)

Homing Laser (After)

Attacks all enemies with a drone before increasing Combat Readiness of the caster by 6% per target and all other allies by 2% per target. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's Speed. When there are three or fewer enemies, damage dealt increases with fewer enemies.

Attacks all enemies with a drone, before increasing Combat Readiness of the caster by 15%, and increasing Combat Readiness of all allies except for the caster by 5%.

Yuna's skill rotation has been improved to reduce the impact of environmental variables and ensure stable damage output.

First, the extra turn effect of Meteor Cannon has been changed to proc from the upgraded skill, allowing Yuna to attack enemies right after applying buffs to her allies and herself. Additionally, the Combat Readiness increase effect of Homing Laser has been modified to guarantee a certain level of Combat Readiness increase, regardless of the number of enemies. Furthermore, Homing Laser's damage no longer varies based on the number of targets. Instead, its base damage has been increased.


In line with this balance adjustment, Yuna's Exclusive Equipment Effects 1 and 2 have been adjusted as follows.

Combat Readiness increases by an additional 1% per target when using Homing Laser.

Increases Combat Readiness of the caster by an additional 5% when using Homing Laser.

Has a 30% chance each to grant allies increased Attack (Greater) for 2 turns when using Upgrade.

Upgrade is unaffected by cooldown increase and decrease effects.

 

With the changes to Yuna's Exclusive Equipment, players will be able to change the effects on this Exclusive Equipment for 2 weeks following the balance adjustment. The effect change is only applicable to Exclusive Equipment that was affected by the update and does not include Equipment obtained after the update. When a player changes the effects, other stats of the Exclusive Equipment will remain unchanged. Effect changes cannot be reversed.

Attacks the enemy with an axe, with a 50% chance to decrease Attack for 2 turns. A critical hit will increase damage dealt.

Free Spirit Tieria now has greater advantages against enemies with high health.

First, Energy Wave's damage has been increased, making it easier to defeat multiple enemies. Additionally, Half Slash and Pursuit Cut will now deal damage proportional to the target's max Health, allowing her to deal greater damage to high-health enemies.

Attacks two enemies with shock magic, before increasing Combat Readiness of the caster by 15%.

When the caster is granted increased Attack, activates Dimensional Rupture again. When activated this way, Dimensional Rupture deals decreased damage, and can only be activated once.

Soulburn (10): Increases damage dealt.

Mercedes now deals consistent damage regardless of the number of enemies.
Dimensional Rupture no longer has its damage increase based on the number of enemies. Instead, its base damage has been increased. Also, when she's under an Attack Increase buff, she now deals an extra attack without damage reduction.
Additionally, Divine Bolt and Blazing Eye of Kal's damage have been increased. Furthermore, the Soulburn effect that increases the damage of Dimensional Rupture has been changed to increase the duration of the Attack increase of Blazing Eye of Kal.

Tactical Maneuver (Before)

Grants the caster skill nullifier once and increased Attack for 2 turns before increasing Attack of the ally except for the caster with the highest Attack for 2 turns.

Camilla now deals higher sustained damage in battles.

Tactical Maneuver's Skill Nullifier has been removed. Instead, the Attack Increase effect it grants to herself and the ally with the highest Attack has been extended to 3 turns, allowing for more consistent high damage output. Flashing Blade's Dual Attack has also been enhanced for more frequent use. Additionally, the 1-turn cooldown reduction from Swift Execution's Skill Enhancement has been replaced with a damage increase, resulting in higher damage from Swift Execution.

Guard (Awakened) (After)

Recovers an ally's Health with water energy and dispels two debuffs, before increasing Combat Readiness of the caster by 20%. Amount recovered increases proportional to the target's max Health and the caster's Attack.

Aither now reliably heals and grants barriers to allies.

First, the recovery amount and barrier strength of Guard, Soulburn, and Spirit's Call, which were affected by various stats, have been adjusted to uniformly increase proportional to the target's Max Health. Additionally, Spirit's Call can now provide a barrier for allies for 2 turns, regardless of whether Aither is awakened, increasing accessibility.

SO no buff on Fallen Cecilia. Riolet should just be a random adjustment, not a buff, as all evasion units works like this but him.And now if Mercedes gets a turn with atk buff and s2 up she just cleans whatever is alive? Cause... There's no restriction. U can reactivate s2 all the time? No hard once per turn? Yu-gi-oh! is proud of u guys
PS: 3 stars artifact buff what a good thing. As new players do like 100 pulls on a banner and 3 stars are already trash to any other 4* they will get. Only DDJ is worth to use nowadays. Trust, we dont need adjustments on "Sword of Autumn Eclipse", "Pure White Trust", "Sphere of Sadism" and maybe others. They doesn't exist.
PSS: This is the patch that was DELAYED for the E7WC meta not change much, but the real deal is that if it would be implemented right now it wouldn't change a thing for the WC

I feel like unless you have a plan to adjust Camilla further you should just abandon this adjustment    .

I also think if you want to change yuna around you should consider giving her automatic crit because unless this is a very large damage increase forcing her to need more stats by what 80% CC feels like a major nerf... 


I think changing riolet in this way is good, but i think its too little too late... maybe give him 100% counter on miss or something 

I really like Sylvan Sage Vivian and can't wait to try new SSV. So i really appreciate this balance patch thank you SG <3.

But for me, SSV is still missing a little spice for her kit. Firstly, skill 1 should have a 40% to activate Thunder storm that attacks all enermies like ice Choux or Candy, soulburn will 100% activate. Secondly, could you return skill 3 all allies crit damge buff :< at least atk buff or even speed buff like Urban Choux then skill 1 gain atk buff for 1 turn like jenua. Last but not least, skill 2 can recover some health base on her atk after consumed 1 Focus, this buff may free her from lifesteal set and easier to use speed set mean faster rotation, gain more Focus and a bit less vulnerable when dealing with Sea Phantom Politis's decrease resource gains or crazy damged from Jenua Rage skill 1 or alot more heroes.

She only need an s2 extra turn, the s3 secure crit is dead and now the only viable build is crit rate + crit DMG

It's unbelievable how SG misses opportunities to do something decent. Fallen Cecilia is highlighted in all the promotional actions of E7WC 2024, she is highlighted in the Moonlight Theater, so everyone is waiting for her to receive a buff/rework in the balance (because no one uses her nowadays) and what happens? Absolutely nothing.

Now people ask: wow, who is this beautiful character in the videos? And what do we respond? Oh, she's an outdated character released years ago that no one cares about anymore.

Edit: I don't know who makes the decisions at SG, but it's definitely someone completely disconnected from the community.

They are only doing this because of the E7WC 2024 event just like they did last year (they gave LHC and Mort small buffs). I am sure when it is over and the next balance patch arrives, lots of characters will receive reworks making them viable again like Fallen Cecilia since they do buff units like Blood Moon Haste, we just have to be patient. 

Yuna enjoyer since the beginning of the game, and one of the requests was that she be able to reach s3 with the attack buff, which was essential for her cycle to work, which was finally fixed.

And even though she loses her auto CD in s3 for pvp fans, she will still be much more useful as an opener, although I would prefer if s1 also had this CD (or none of the skills)

And I don't understand why people are talking about S1, it's better, since the damage will be the same with more or less enemies, it's a shame S3 doesn't work like that either, since it only starts to deal good damage when there's 1 enemy only (for those who don't know, it is >inversely proportional<, not proportional)

Big Yuna enjoyer as well. I don’t intend to be rude, but I think I will disagree with her being more useful as an opener. Her base speed is not competitive enough against the base speeds of other openers. And if you want to use her as an opener anyway, wouldn’t her speed scaling S1 effect be suitable? They removed that, and maybe put it in the “damage increased” green text effect, but that effect definitely could have stayed, since her S1’s modifiers aren’t really exceptional right now. 

Also, the S1 is worse against more enemies in PvE. There’s some stages with 6 or 7 enemies, and the original combat readiness effect would be much better for these stages. I really like using her in Automaton Tower too! Will still use her, but still, that’s a nerf. Against 3-4 enemies in RTA, Arena, or even guild wars, her S1 will net less combat readiness for her and her team. I know, it’s not too big of a loss, but it’s still a nerf nonetheless for a unit that’s already not too strong.

KvotheCuvanOpener because that's how most people used her before the change, and she got better at the function, since you'll start dealing s2 and still dealing a little damage with s1 (which I personally would have put an EE to avoid counterattacks in S1 or in the base-kit)

if we are talking about CR push in S1, the base was increased to a fixed 15% + EE (if you use EE with the CR effect), so there is no way to say that it was a nerf, and even in relation to pve (which I I also use her in the automaton tower) the benefits will outweigh the losses, you will do more damage even with 6+ enemies, even with less CR push at the end (15 + EE // 6 per tanget, not a big difference), and I believe that the S1 multipliers no longer take it into account the speed is because she will deal damage regardless of the number of enemies, like i said, which is a gain, not a loss either.

ps: maybe the nerf was the loss of G. attack on one of the EE that was also useful in pve, which they made niche for PVP (now with immunity to increased cooldown)

Please do not continue with the Yuna changes. Why are you nerfing her?? Her S1 is worse in PvE now, as there can be many enemies in PvE. Also, it’s worse against 4 or 3 enemies in PvP. Her S2 was a good change, alright, but her S3? Why are you removing the auto-crit?? Just, why?? This completely screws over my no crit chance build with her. 

If you wanted to help new players use Yuna, it would have been 100% better to just give her S1 auto crit, and to let her S3 still auto crit, so that newer players don’t have to build crit chance on her anymore

Also I had been using camila a lot, and I liked her skill nullifier...

No atk buffs for ml vivian as well? also I liked her crd buff... why remove it? but it was a good choice to made her heal go according with her atk.

wtf with mercedes, so our only chance now its going with an extintion unit and go for the one shot?

I honestly don't know why you guys do these anymore, just let the game rot away like it is, isn't it better to not **** on the past that brought us here.

Just fix Yuna that's the least you can do, just don't remove her always crit on S3 and if you feel generous fix the turn cycling.

No fcc buff. Riolet got not a "buff", but a fix, that should be done long ago. Ccv rework is good, now she is usable. Kinda like yuna rework, cause  s2 additional turn + her skills or both needed to crit, or neither. Kinda sad there is no s2 merc sb, and skill null on camilla removal. 3* arti reworks are not bad, but NOT at the cost of bunch of 5* arti, that are not usable in most cases.

I HAD ENOUGH OF THIS CRAP! The whole balance team have to be FIRED A.S.A.P, if you really wanted to fix Yuna you just had to make her S1 to always crit like her S3 and keep the S2 extra turn as intended. Besides ruining Camilla you didn't buff Fallen Cecilia; is not once but twice the events that you use her as poster and nothing happened to her (she was used in Overlord collab posters but she didn't appear in the story). We had never seen this level of disorganization before... I can keep cool with you disrespecting people by treating Brinus as a "funny" meme, but nerfing Yuna, the literal engine of the game, to the point of making her completely useless is an offense that WON'T BE TOLERATED!!! The E7wc 2024 isn't an excuse for this aberration.

How out of touch could you be with your player base... People want you to break the mold, and I understand the hesitation before the E7WC, but if that was the case you should've pushed back this balance patch until after the WC and then made a giga patch... 

Just do something, people will find things to complain about regardless really...

Shame on you. Never in my life have I witnessed a more pathetic balance patch. You are lazy incompetent people. Many units and artifacts that actually needed buffs were not considered. Riolets buff makes him the same as before. Nothing he needed was added. Lazy. Ml Vivian's buff makes her more “interesting” and a bit better than she was. but why would you take away the crit damage buff? Don't even get me started with Yuna. Weak before weaker after. You ruined her in EVERY way. A garbage unit turned into a dumpster fire. Mercedes is like Riolet. Lazy Camila was nerfed. What the hell were you thinking. “Let’s buff her by Getting rid of her skill nullifier!!! Perfect!” And Finally aither a free 3 star unit who nobody uses.WHO the F**K CARES. You managed to nerf him as well. You took off increased attack healing so it’s less healing. Then the artifacts. All of them USELESS. What’s the point of calling this a balance patch. Call it a rearrange patch because that all you guys do. Screw you.
 

I rent see the Camilla nerf coming. Nerf bat hit Yuma’s S3 out of the park. Meanwhile broken moonlight heroes reign supreme.

gutting Yuna Good Job SG she was for sure a problem in RTA! Stay Away from Zeno if this is how you are going to treat the FREE 5 star units. 0 out of 10 patch, DISAPPOINTING! DO BETTER! I'm just going to put her away never to be seen again and remove all the good gear i had on her and put it on someone else. These NERFS on Yuna really hurt, she was one of the characters that brought me to the game and now she wont even be playable :(

I expect a recall button on Sage Vivian. Honestly, i know her kit is a tiny little bit better now, but that's just not enough. while taking the crit damage buff away from her S3 just took her only spot in the whole game away from her. Please, just give me the recall button, i need those resources back for units that can be used for real. She's never going to be one, it's just her kit isn't a big deal anyway since she can't do too much damage or she would be broken... I'm not asking for further buff, just recall or leave crit damage on her S3. That's litterally the only thing she had a place and she'll never see more places. Just trust, she's never gonna see more place.

xd,  Because of how the meta is, it is more beneficial for him to be selfish than that critical damage buff, if he manages to charge 60% it is ok in addition to a more powerful heal with s3
