Please fix evasion mechanics [6]

Enemies who are stunned/put to sleep should not be able to evade attack. I have never seen any game where an enemy literally cannot move and still dodge your attack like a boss :|

    Google it. There have been many. Usually because something like a WoW pvp trinket or other on-demand CC-breaking cooldown doesn't exist to give the opponent a chance to respond.


    Aside from it having been a thing, consider the severe ripple effect to other artifacts and heroes that use or rely on the evasion mechanic, and how it would greatly buff the value of stun/sleep, and how that would in-turn dramatically buff the heroes and artifacts that can inflict it.

    It's not as simple as your post suggests, and history has shown that.

    @Amato Ok maybe they do exist. My bad, I don't play WoW. But you're talking about an action-rpg game vs a turn-based rpg game, there's not a need for instantaneous reaction here. About that "ripple effect", I don't see that as a big problem. You have to hit the enemy in the first place to inflict a stun/sleep <=> a debuff that INCAPACITATES the enemy. If there is no reward in stunning/putting them to sleep, then it's the heroes who rely on those mechanics are useless. And considering the number of stackable evasion on particular heroes vs available accuracy increase, I don't believe my suggestion will break any balance. Moreover, there's that hidden defensive RNG BS to make your life even harder. I also think that artifact should not work on miss. Yeah I'm mainly talking about Violin/Abyssal Dizzy dispelling and stunning my Violet non-stop. I hope they rework that too.

    I must've missed the patch note where they changed stun to both break on hit and gave everyone 1-turn immunity after coming out of stun.

    This game doesn't even have diminishing returns on CC. Talk about "what other game does that?". You can chain-stun with impunity. And you want to buff that level of CC that already completely incapacitates and steals the round of the target further when AOE stuns exist? Did you see Dominiel's recent S3 buff? Have you forgotten one of the biggest reasons why ML Aramintha was such a problem? Nobody wants a stun meta in anything.

    You can't just add CC with no answer in a pvp game. The game then devolves into "stunlock to win". You can ask google about the history of games that had that problem too.

    I agree with this.

    Stun/Sleep decrease evasion chance to 0 but can still miss by elemental advantage.
