[Shop] Increased pack cost? really?
we will have a temporary maintenance in order to improve our payment system performance
Now after reading that, you wouldt think they would increase the cost of the packs, but then i saw the increase in like €10 for the already expensive packs really?
Monthly Pack 1 : 50kr to 59 kr
Monthly Pack 2 : 109kr to 119kr
Monthly Summon Pack 1 : 319 kr to 359kr
Monthly Summon Pack 2 : 1095kr to 1195kr
Nothing about this in the recent "maintenence" and a small increase again, if you guys are trying to earn money dont increase the prices, lower them
edit ( added below )
Just checked and the Skystones of course have a higher price aswell
Well they did improve...to a higher price
That’s actually unsettling...the game is doing great in terms of revenue so jacking up prices is such a “penny pinching” move. I don’t mean to sound whiny, but if I had such a booming success I would be very happy and thankful, and seek to repay the fans of my game as well as deliver more content to match my success...not try to milk them even more and push content back. I have seen so many games die because of greed, and I really hope E7 doesn’t go down the same path since I really enjoy it. The key to a game’s longevity is respect of patrons which will in turn develop loyalty, not financial exploitation which will sow the seeds of distrust. Loyalty is another path to success as well...
Stay classy Smilegate!
I didn't buy them to begin with BECAUSE they were expensive already and the packs themselves didn't even seem worth it. Now it's just a joke.
I din't see any price change in my region. Everything stays the same.
Is there a new added tax in your country?
I know there are certain cases where pack price increase when the country increase the tax on game purchase.
I think Taiwan was the most recent case that I remember.
Err, there aren't any price change in my region.
My guess is this has something to do with Google Play and/or Apple Store. Usually what happens is that the game devs set a price in USD. You'll notice that the price in USD hasn't changed at all. Over time currency exchange rates change or new taxes are required. Google/Apple automatically apply this without any control from the devs of the game. I have seen this happen in all 5 games I play over the course of the last 4 months. All changes have been for region specific reasons that are decided by Google/Apple.
Could it be something else? It could be for sure but this is my guess. We'll just have to wait and see if they make an official response.
IIRC the Devs can't set specific prices for each region. It all has to do with exchange rates and taxes that make price difference between regions and is controlled by Google/Apple.
No change here as well.
Oh well cant wait to see the € prices since we already pay up to 40% more for each pack than any resident in the US or on the other side of the world, hopes up!
Prices stayed the same in the US, perhaps is has to due with the OP's weak economy in country. Swedish krona has dropped 10% in value against the USD over the last year. This price "increase" seems to reflect that.
Living in Japan and playing Global server. They jacked the prices up here as well.
Yes, recently Japan got a 2% consumption tax increase from 8% to 10%, but the price increase by an additional 11%+- instead of +2%. So, they increased it by a f-ton.
I would have thought that since the product(game) is located outside of Japan and not paying anyone in Japan, that the consumption tax increase would not be affect. Seems like it does - learning new *** every day, but 11% is still more than 10%.
Before I paid 10,820yen(ripoff) for a pack and now I'm definitely not paying a cent anymore. Before this was a massive price to pay for very little in-game value, so spending money further is now out, completely.
If they think this trash is worth that much, they are beyond messed up in the head.
This price jack is definitely not because of my country's recent 2% consumption tax hike.
Some packs have a 9.82% increase in price, while others have up to 19.75% increase in price.
