Arbiter Vildred is a case study on what not to do
I keep trying to accept him but I can't. He is a case study on how not to design a character for every future gacha game developer. His general concept is something developers toss around as a joke for how absurd it would be...but it's actually in the game.
Why in a game where the objective is to kill enemies is there a character that punishes doing exactly that? Why does that same character, with the 5th highest base attack in the game, also have a condition to reuse his AOE S3 immediately on the next turn for killing an enemy when that AOE skill can eliminate any standard dps with relative ease? A combination that allows a character to wave clear PvP matches like fodder farming is absurd.
Make his S3 single target or remove the condition that resets cooldown and you have something that is at least acceptable. Not to mention the 30% buff to the skill's damage when 10-15% would have sufficed that wasn't considered when he was re-balanced.
On a related note the precedent that has been set with him makes me extremely weary for the upcoming Specimen Sez buff considering he has the exact same condition attached to his S3 and his ability to penetrate defense will allow for significant damage.
