rhianna and luciella's new side story is ridiculously way too hard. Please fix [1]
The new side story episodes 7 & 8 are ridiculously way to hard. I have tried every possible team composition on both levels and I cannot beat 7 on normal or hard and episode 8 is impossible with the forced use of the story character rhianna and luciella. Please balance patch the levels so they're at least somewhat easier to beat..., I feel like side story levels shouldn't be that excessively hard

Stage 8 (new event side story) cannot pass [1]
I have tried over 20 times with different teams including frieren, brieg, destina, ras, cermia,,,, it’s a lot harder than I expected for a side story boss and I’m really struggling! I can get the boss down to 10% but the berserk is too much and the boss takes 4 turns in a row at that point and keeps insta wiping my team with the constant detonations. Any team recs or advice pls!
Justice for international buyers! [2]
Smilegate! Please come up with a solution for international shipping. Shipping cost should not cost this much. Is there no way to export your goods to international stores? What about amazon? I just think you are making your merchandise way too difficult for international fans. Lastly, I want to explain the picture. I had an idea where I would buy a bunch of these books and resell them in the US for an extra $20. The buyer would save money (paying $10-15 for shipping instead of $65), and I would recover from the shipping cost. Except, shipping goes up an extra $20 per book! I did the math, and reselling would not work unless I scalped them (which is not what I'm going for here!) The worst part, going off the english ver of vol 2, once these books sell out, that's it. I couldn't find a single english ver of this book on ebay. Plenty of Japanese and Korean vers, but english is super rare apparently. Probably because no english speaker wanted to pay $65 for shipping a book, and those who
PowerCreep & FanService at peak level ? [12]
Turning Epic Seven into a fan-service-heavy game like Brown Dust 2 would be a bad direction for the game. Epic Seven became popular because of its identity: strong animations, strategic gameplay, memorable characters, and a fantasy universe that feels serious and immersive. If the game starts focusing too much on provocative designs and fan service, it risks losing what made it unique in the first place. Fan service can create short-term hype, but it usually doesn’t build long-term respect or loyalty. When a game relies too much on sexualized content, the discussion around it slowly shifts away from gameplay, lore, and strategy toward character exposure and controversy. That kind of direction can alienate players who actually care about the game itself rather than just visual appeal. Another major problem is the current power creep, which is already becoming excessive with the release of R&L. Instead of improving balance, Smilegate keeps releasing units that push the limits further and
The Biggest Barrier for New Players: Gear [8]
I feel like gear progression is one of the few systems that still feels outdated. Epic Seven improved a lot for new players. Getting heroes and progressing early is much faster now than before. But gear still feels unnecessarily frustrating. At this point, blue gear has almost no value and purple gear often needs insane rolls to compete. The game already added gear boxes, better beginner gear and systems to reduce RNG, which makes it feel like even the devs know the core system is too punishing. I'm not asking for perfect gear. I just think high level farming should feel more rewarding and less like cleaning inventory after 300 runs.
Follow-up to Orbis Guide post: Why SG are Predators. [2]
Smilegate’s strategy relies entirely on psychological manipulation and a corporate calculus that values fresh revenue over player loyalty. While they try to disguise it as "game balance" and "accessibility," the mechanics behind it are designed to exploit human behavior. Here is exactly how this practice, often called the "New Player Trap" or "Churn and Burn" model, functions as a predatory mobile business practice: 1. Exploiting the "Sunk Cost Fallacy" Smilegate knowingly weaponizes your loyalty against you. They know that a player who has spent years logging in daily, grinding gear, and building a community is suffering from the "Sunk Cost Fallacy." They gamble on the fact that you will be too emotionally invested, or too afraid of "wasting" your past time, to actually quit, allowing them to treat you like furniture while they chase new money. 2. Devaluing Your Labor to Create Urgency By handing brand-new accounts elite, fully rolled gear sets and top-tier Moonlight heroes, they inst
Insider Info as to why SG screwed over Veterans with the Orbis Guide. [2]
Tl;dr - SG couldn't care less about us. Smilegate gave a corporate, completely tone-deaf excuse that basically boiled down to: "Veterans have already benefited from years of past events, so giving them these massive new rewards too would broaden the player gap and make new players feel left behind." They tried to frame it as a necessary measure for long-term "game health" and player retention, but their execution showed how little they actually respect older players. Their specific defenses and the reality behind them reveal their true motives: 1. The "Player Gap" Excuse. Smilegate argued that veterans already possess extensive rosters, maxed out imprints, and years of farmed gear. They claimed that if they handed veterans the exact same 10 Moonlight 5-star chests and 290+ speed gear sets being given to new players, it would break the PvP balance entirely. 2. The Galaxy Coin Disregard When veterans pointed out that they couldn't even keep duplicate heroes from the event, which were ins
Weakening and Fervor Set First Impressions [12]
Assuming that the language for the weakening set adds 15% to the probability of a unit inflicting a debuff, I have made the following chart to share my initial impressions for which units it maybe be worth farming the new equipment set. 100% unlock means that the Weakening Set allows the unit to get to 100% debuff chance. BiS stands for (best-in-slot), meaning the equipment set has a good case to be the most useful for the character. These are just first impressions, and mostly just for reference/your interest.
I made a free Epic Seven site for guild-war [2]
Hi everyone, I started playing Epic Seven about a month ago, and while getting into Guild War, I realized that it was hard for me to know which defense teams or offense teams I should use. I also found it difficult to search for this information in a simple and organized way, so I made a small website to help players like me quickly check Guild War team ideas. I’m still new to the game, so the site may not be perfect, but I’d really appreciate it if you could try it out and share any feedback, suggestions, or feature requests. Here is the link to my site: https://ep7guild-war.vercel.app/en/meta Thank you!
