Disappointed in the czn devs and season 4 [7]
The three new female character teasers for Season 4 look great, but I'm honestly disappointed that we're still not seeing any new male characters.
At the start of the game, we had a nice mix of characters like Luke, Kayron, Hugo, and Cassius as a cyborg. That variety made the roster feel more balanced and interesting.
Lately, it feels like every new addition is another female character. Some of us enjoy playing male characters too, and it would be nice to see more diversity in the lineup again. Hopefully future seasons bring back that balance and give players more options.

I like the gameplay in CZN but the unit designs are very disappointing so far. I honestly feel like I got tricked by the starting roster having guys in it.
CZN having all gooner characters except for Adelheid since launch causes my eyes to glaze over. It's just one after another and another and they aren't significantly different from each other. They all have melons bigger than their heads (except Tiphera, who constantly flashes her shimapan instead), they're all affectionate towards you, they're all not wearing much, they're all traumatised and depending on you for emtional support. Boring.
At this point I'm switching over to the other horror card-based roguelike instead. It has real roster variety and does the horror theme better anyway.
@STOVE210494664 Fei was never "CN Exclusive" as from before she even came out they'd already said that she was "coming Early alongside the Rewrite". Also, for the topic of Males to come, I don't expect one till after Season 5 ends based on their statements in the Diana Stream and their stated Hero creation pipeline of 8-10 months of Development per character.
@PhaiCae I'd respect that more as well, cause now I'm still holding on and spending money cause I hope they release at least one variety character this year... also why was their starting lineup so diverse and awesome and then they went full gooner? I hope we get some clarity soon.
I wish they'd just be direct about it and officially say there's absolutely zero chance for new male characters (like Mo*g*l did at their launch) so I can pack and leave. The sunk cost fallacy will surely hurt for me especially since I'm a day one player (all those unused omega codes, selector and currency and anchors I just stockpiled over months).
Then they throw a bone by making a Hugo plushie. Like what am I supposed to read from this? That CZN still cares about their male/s?
Just let us male wanters go lol. The loud majority might even appreciate it.
Let's hope they release at least one before the first year of czn ends
Yeah I do agree with you .I love the new summer characters but I wish we got more males. However lets be real for a bit , not even E7 releases males on summer so this was to be expected and if Fei remained CN exclusive for a little longer , some vocal minority wouldn't stop crying about it . I think season 5 should be the deal breaker on whether they will add more males in the future or not.. I have some friends that quit the game because there is no new males characters even though they enjoyed the gameplay so much
