Request from a long time Gacha spender (More Males) [7]
I've been playing CZN since around its second week and really fell inlove with the game quickly. I was recently playing Wuthering Waves and grew bored of the gameplay, i wanted something that could have a higher emphasis on an element of challenge to it and was seeing alot of positive reviews of this game along with alot of people promoting the game through units like Kayron and Rin, which are 2 units i personally love. Being a Gacha gamer over the last 15 years has really begun to desensitize me when it comes to expectations vs reality but somehow the livestream today managed to break even that.
CZN has obviously been trending infavor of the gooner audience since the beginning but because of its initial roster plus SmileGate's record with E7 i decided to give it a chance. I've been a huge supporter of the game since then, E6'ing as many characters as i could afford while patiently waiting for one that i would really appreciate, but come to find out that was never in CZNs plan. Today we were effectively told there will be no males ( with bleek hope of "sure if we see enough demand for it"). What i find crazy about that take is from what i can see a signficant portion of the community from day 1 was largely vocal of what they wanted, alot of the creators i took an interest in also vocalized hopes that this game wouldn't follow its current trend, honestly it feels like an insult, but either way we were told to show our support if we truly wanted it.
Personally im tired of this trend and i find that its actively hurting my enjoyment of the game, my mentality has shifted from looking forward to releases to feeling like "oh great another season before i can have hope for something i might want again". I'd like to openly voice my desire to see more diversity in the roster, plenty of us would actually support male units if you were confident enough to only just release them. I enjoy spending on the things i like and currently i can barely even muster up the interest in Diana and the future units i have in mind without any personal pay off on the horizon, its a small request really. Please just have some faith in your own ability to make a good game and the sales will compliment it. Currently, this just feels like a never ending loop of the same thing and it beginning to lose it's zeal, our money isn't worth any less than who you're trying to cater to, at least give us a chance to prove it..
I love CZN and would like to be able to wholeheartedly enjoy the game without something as silly as gender balance preventing me from looking forward to the games future.

As someone who enjoyed E7 from launch until 2021 when the GW grind became too much for me (I've never been a big fan of PvP games as a whole), I can say that: Yes, E7 has a female skewed roster and plenty of fanservice characters. But E7 also has a diverse male cast with multiple male character releases across all 3 character rarities in that game. No one complained or even cared when a male character released, even if they didn't plan to summon, they just waited for the next female character >
I don't understand, honestly, why it's such a big issue in CZN. If you aren't interested in male characters, that's fine, don't summon for them. But why should people who are interested in them not get them? What's the harm in having them in game ?
There's even designs for male characters already, such as Arther. I'd be happy just to see those released. Even if it's 1 male per 9 female characters, that'd be good enough for me.

Nice lie "spender" lol. NO MALE CHARACTERS! Ignore the crybabies; they do this on every game out there, they're just a vocal minority.

No one said we needed to have males replace the intended audience as the majority. The point was they already had the experience from E7 how to implement male character support. That tends to be the issue with you guys, your so greedy you feel threatened by anything remotely male and automatically jump to the defensive without realizing even if we get a male 1 every 5 characters you'd still have a 80% majority.
