last time I did a similar post about the "draw one exhaust card" and "activate immediately upon drawing exhaust card" not working on Khalipe which I thought was a character specific issue but then after doing some testing @saionji said that S2 equipments were the issue, that the refinement doesn't work if you have S2 equipment. Now that is somewhat correct. In my Renoa/Cass/Nia FTK Rift 1st Phase run I had those refinements on Cass but it never worked properly because I had S2 equipment on him...

But then when I tested it on Nine, it worked properly even though I had phytotype synthetic on her, which is a S2 equipment. So it could be that it works properly ONLY on Nine and other characters can't have S2 equipment. Anyway the most annoying thing is devs not fixing it. Like they fixed the refinement that gave unfair advantage to AOE characters but they're not fixing smth that's disadvantageous to players and doesn't work properly...
