E2+ Kayron is still Pay to Lose [5]
There are many friends who enjoy Kayron have voiced this problem and it need to be fixed ASAP since this is not good business practice.
His E2 damage type is not considered fixed damage therefore those who already pay for Kayron to get his Ego to 2-max will still be at disadvantage to those at E0-1 in Great rift.

It's sad that the convex effect puts you at a disadvantage.
My solution is when E2 is about to proc for the first time, the game should ask player if you want this E2 attack to proc or not with an option that make this decision continue through out the entire fight.
I don't have E2 Kayron, but if it's not fixed damage then yeah this is an issue since anything that's not fixed damage on phase 2 will instantly hide the head (I tested with Agony and that counts as a hit for the head when it's targetable).
Presumably since it's not coded as fixed damage. I have E0 so I can't personally test but I saw E2 people die from just use Ult to exhaust Futility cards.
he still makes the head hide ?
