They already censored a character again (Tiphera's Breakdown) [24]
So, you know how there are stickers of the breakdowns you can use to customize your save datas? Well, if you take a look at Tiphera's you'll see that the art of the sticker is different than the one of her in game breakdown. And what's the difference, you'll ask? Her skirt covers less of her body in the original one.
Immediately after trying to censor Nine and being forced to revert it, they censor a character again. And we wouldn't have known if they didn't accidentaly put the original art in game.
Great. How are we supposed to even trust the devs anymore?

For me they should have a button that censorship the characters and the game with you want it. They only need to transfer the data of the Chinese Server, so people who want the characters censored will have it and people who doenst want it will be free. Its better than you censor everything.
Please tell them to censor my chizuru 😆 kidding, just add an opinion to turn on and off NSFW🔞... it'll save everyone the trouble.
I imagined there is already pre-censorship going on. This character look like she's supposed to be a loli but they added the boob size and made her lame. "Butt fangs" fan-service is safe-horny cope.
Dang, this is what I was worried about when I saw what happened with the Nine lobby - progressively there being more censorship just that they're more sneaky about it. We would have had no idea if they didn't slip and accidentally put the pre-censor version of her breakdown. Some people are trying to claim it's an artistic choice, but I think context matters highly in these situations. Coming right off the back of what happened in the Nine lobby and them broadcasting to their players heading in the direction of censorship makes it seem much more intentional to appease a conservative audience than creative freedom. So, no, I don't think it's just a difference in "skirt length" or nitpicky things like that, but a genuine concern for silent changes going forward and restrictions on an aspect of the game everyone was drawn to - mature themes in story, character design, gameplay, etc. That's what OP means by "trust" - not the more superficial argument people are having about goon vs no
Good find/post! During the Nine Lobby situation I posted about my concern that this would lead to censorship that we wouldn't even know about and that it might leave a good portion of the community who does care with a lack of trust in the devs.
There is room for all body types, risque or not risque breakdowns and lobby screens; and players should be able to choose between which they prefer or gravitate toward without having to remind them to fix something like this every patch and character release.
Either way, they advertised the game and got people invested by using the principle that the risque sells, so bait and switching it after would be pretty cringe in my opinion; but if this happens for a third consecutive character 'on accident' it isn't going to look like it's 'on accident' anymore.
I personally suggest just using the suggestions but I disagree with the reply that a general topic about CZN doesn't belong in general discussion, especially when its a broader idea!

I don't think it's malicious, the current breakdown probably was a placeholder maybe they forgot to change it, but you should put that in the report/suggestion tab not the general discussion one.

Just love how some of these comments are focused on how “icky” it is to sexualize the anime character rather than the fact that they implemented more censorship and the fact tiphera still has panty shots in game makes this so much funnier these devs man

She may look that way in your opinion but she is clearly at least college age. Her twin sister Tiana published a research paper. Tiphera's a Marshal and Tiana is a Negotiator which are high ranks and they were not given those positions out of nepotism as we see they grew up alone in the middle of nowhere. I also disagree that she acts childish. I'd argue she's more mature than most of the cast. The only childish aspect is how she handles her emotions towards the captain, but every woman in this game is shy and awkward about that except for Yuki and Serenial. Hell even Nine is all shy about it. Nia, Owen, Rei, Tressa, Mei Lin, and Mika are clearly all meant to be around the same age and I'd argue they all look and act younger than Tiphera. I also personally believe Chizuru and Magna are meant to be around Tiphera's age based on how they appear and act. Magna's model is the same height and everything. It's fine to not like her design but if you see her as a child then half the cast is.
ProElyou have a good point tbf, and yep, i do think the cast could be more mature in general, its okay to have some goofy ahh moments or some cliche harem romance thing, but id love to see the history and the cast going more into the "dark" side of things aside from looking like a dating sim. game, and ALL the girls just going 'rain mode' towards the captain is a dealbreaker for me, like... bro... theyve just met, at least do a better relationshio building or unlock romance as the players increase their affeccion ( youre only doing 40 towards your favourites anyways, and im pretty certain some ppl like to have this romance thing )

GlltyI agree. The dark themes were really lacking compared to what they advertised, and while they're definitely doing better this season I would still like a bit more. I also find it annoying just how quickly the new girls all fall in love with the captain. I understand that with gachas the girls must like the mc and I personally like things being that way. Just wish there was more development to get to that point with the characters. Like going above 15 affection is pretty pointless right now.
ProElyeah, and i feel the "romance" part actually do hinder the story development, It makes sense for Renoa to be in love with you, shes with the crew from the start, but the other usually just see something special and boom, thats it, shes liking your feet; It also makes It feels like its nothing, you dont even have time to know the character and theyre already in their all-fours, youre literally fighting slave traficking and the girls seems to care more about who will get the MC weewee

Am I a bad or weird person for having *** with my wife? Not all adult women are tall with huge breasts and I for one enjoy seeing my wife’s body type represented and dislike that up until this point the only characters that get sexualized have big boobs. Not even Renoa gets a spicey home screen
Tiphera is literally the one of most realistic body type in this. Women that are petite are built like that especially if they're short. Have you never seen petite women before?
