Suggestion to improve Chaos [3]
Hello, here is my suggestion to make chaos more fun and challenging
1. Allow path backtracking. This allows for greeter exploration, and deck building..
2. Previously cleared areas will refill with enemies or events. That will not provide any reward for re-clearing, or possibly cause negative effects making the backtrack option a harder choice.
3. Set break recovery limit, depending on chaos level to add a challenging element to chaos exploration.
4. Add more buff encounters during chaos similar to the ones at the start of the exterior and interior zones.

4- Thats a fair suggestion tbh, but i doubt they'd do that, they already did, and the community had a bad reaction since ppl want removals, card copys, divine epiphanies, and credits, the way the game works rn doesnt really asks for more fate selections + the number of fates are kinda limited and the chaos being relatively small ( yeah, i know It takes almost an hour to clear, but why would you take a fate instead of a removal or 80 credits if youre beating interior withouth the need of these extra buffs anyways ? ), If abyss have something like... 3~4 floors, or an infinite mode ( no save data there please, preserve the pure roguelite ), then yes, New fates and more selections ( with some debuffs too ) would be very welcomed, since theyd increase the replayability vallue of the runs;
i honestly ask myself If you've even played another roguelite deckbuilder in your life or If you're just clueless, no offense;
1- Backtrack ? so... If you can go back and take every camp or just stall early events to get better ones latter, what would be the point of pathing in the first place ? your suggestion is a straight "remove this game mechanich"
2- Why would you backtrack If theres no rewards ? oh, i know... free camps, free shops, stall for early events, making later ones ( who youre supposedly getting the rewards ) be better... hm... looks kinda cheap...
3- Break recovery limit ? rlly ? i agree they could make mind breaks more engaging, instead of just a soft stun to your characters ( make your DMG and heals negatively scale on stress, make the character have a chance to do some random things, make a pre-mindbreak state... idk ) but... a limit to recovery ? we already have that, each recovery increases the number of cards you need to recover again; +
I don't know...
