Rin needs something more in order to function as a main dps
The new buffs for Rin while being nice isn't that much better. You can't really run her with another dps so the stance gain isn't impactful most of the time and the mythic card is still underwhelming even at 9 hits, specially when you would need to brick your hand with spores to do that. With the new hp inflation of bosses Rin really can't keep up her dmg to be a reliable main dps. You would think with the stance mechanic she would have something more to counter balance the demerit. She takes too long to deal the dmg other characters do in a short period of time or just in 1 turn because of their mechanics. The biggest reason to this is that her scaling is very fixed with no gimmick to actually increase the dmg ceiling per turn. The most dmg you could get out of a Rin is with the move destruction build, but even that isn't much. Almost every other 5 star main dps have epiphanies or other ways to scale higher like Luke, Kayron and Mei lin. Or at least some gimmick to increase dmg per turn like Renoa and Sereniel. If it wasn't for the fact that she is hot Rin wouldn't even be used at the current state of the game. Many 4 stars are much better than Rin even with lower investment. So I hope that she will get some scaling to actually compete with other 5 star dmg dealers in season 3.
