Feedback on Trust & Transparency [5]
I am a mid-level spender in this game and drop (80 -$200) a banner
With the ongoing changes to Units and game mechanics, I feel like I cant trust that the characters or partners i build will remain as they are when buying them. It feels like if it's convenient for the devs to change something like this because they deem it to be "problematic" what's stopping them from doing this to any unit where an interesting combo or mechanic is discovered? I have decided to become a F2P player after these recent changes It will take a lot to gain many players trust back.
In the future If large, sweeping changes like this are made. Timing is the most important!!!! Either nerf these items within 24hrs or wait until the end of the season. Many players spent money to get nine and her partner because of these interactions, and taking it away and giving us 1000 gems feels awful. I will not fall for this again.

@Vyan91 yeah, it was really broken, the hability by itself is good enough, passively you get 100% fixed shield ( on a late game build, that'll be arnd 100~130 ), 20% increase in DMG after exhausting a card, and 20% more If you use Alcea's active... and its a 5 stacks debuff, for a character with huge multipliers... so... its alot, but, It was bugged and doing 20%xStack Amount, 100% then 80% then 60%, 40% and 20%
What do you mean by taking it away and giving you 1000 gems ?
They literally allowed you to ask for a recall and all those pulls you used will be refunded. The gems is just compensation for the unintended bug (for me it's just free pulls for nothing, yay)
Also from what I understand looking at the other posts (I don't pull for Nine or her partner so I could only infer from other people perspective), the partner ability could be stack to give up to 100% dmg which obviously kinda broken. Makes sense for them to "fix" it especially when Nine herself already broken 😅
yup, ppl will complain no matter what, if a character receives a nerf then its "oh no It was nerfed i dont believe my OP combo was adressed" and if they leave It be, then its "Fcking powercreep new units are always better, they wanna oblige you to pull", and then If they buff everyone else, theres no guaranteeing abt then being balanced at all and they'd need to buff the enemys too, wich would still be a loosing alternative as we'd have "games P2W its too hard"
thats valid, you feel cheated. No more 100k hits. On the other hand I really doubt they even considered something like this to be possible. No one was using Orlea for endgame, content not even with Beryl. So its very plausible it wasn't a marketing scheme to lead players on, but an oversight on devs part and when that happens, they have two choices. Buff everyone, including bosses to even the field, or nerf a character. They decided for the latter. Is it smart? hard to say. People would complain they are making the game harder so that you HAVE to have some character and that they buffed bosses again in next patch. Either way they won't end up as winners. I guess 50k hits will have to do
Kinda hard to preview every little interaction in 24h ( even tho this one was quite obvious ) + they've stated they'll actively do changes and rebalancements, i always find weird how these "funny combos" are always something easy to do and thats potentially harm to the game, while being obviously unbalanced and also being easy to achieve... anyways, these changes does not affect Nine that much ( shes still OP when paired with Orlea + some sort of vuln. ) and again, was harmfull, what abt ppl who wanna skip her ? what about deck diversity ? Do you want to see the same thing that happened at the first Great Rift with Healdagger abuse? where everyone needed this or they couldnt even compete ?
