Extra Damage - question? [13]
What mechanics exactly benefit from Extra Damage?
Here are some that should be no brainer:
- Marks
- Veronicas Ballistas
- Hugos Commence the Hunt
- Nias [Mute Accent] (and few other epi upgrades) + Decibel trigger
Confirmed by Gllty and Vyan91 that those benefit:
- Coordinated Attack
- Counterattack
Those do not benefit:
- Fixed Damage
- Additional hits
Is there anything else?

Fixed dmg only count raw stats, it doesn't consider buff, debuff, or any additional multiplier.
Additional hits is not considered Extra atk.
Counter, Mark, and Coordinated atk is counted as Extra atk.
Those who benefit from extra atk :
Hugo, Beryl, Renoa, Veronica, Selena, Nia, Magna, Maribel
You could think Extra atk as some mechanic that allowed you to act out of turn unless specified in the card like Ballista and Dirge Bullet.
Great answer! Thanks for clarification.
To me extra damage stat is like rolling a much less noticeable crit damage stat hahahahah~ it doesn't even affect the DOT stat too which kinda sụcksass when it's this vague... 10/10 would reroll the stat if I could
i dont see this stat being hella usefull aside from ranger characters as Hugo or Selena, almost as bad as dot ( only Tressa wants that )
GlltyDOT might be meta again down the road once we get a proper 5☆ to lead the charge (they could just rework Kay's kit for that purpose), this season's limited might be able to fit the role(not that I'd know skip button has been my best friend.)
This is a bit the reason why i asked this question...
My memory fragments tab is huge mess right now and i am about to dump all of the ones with DOT into dismantle and wanted to know if there is any use for Extra Damage too or if they should share same fate...
I메기도Iat the global stream they've stated we arent getting a limited this season, im not 100% sure if i should believe that ( the info came from the leader of the combat balancement team ), but i'd get it anyways
FalagorDoT is Tressa only stat; Extra DMG tho is pretty usefull mainly for rangers; and, about memory frags organization, i wouldnt just dump'em to oblivion, i recommend you at least +2 or 3 your legendary pieces to see If you roll for good (~3%) crit chance, you may even roll some insane 5~6% crit chance pieces in the way
Fixed DMG is just Fixed DMG and im 90% sure its not benefiting from extra ATK DMG, counterattacks tho does benefit from this stat, as well as coordinated atks
Thx for clarification.
