Okay, I'm back. Just wanted to come back with an update since I was able to farm for that exact Weapon + Refinement combination yesterday and did some testing today! Yes, this combination is definitely broken and doesn't work properly. It was triggering every single turn without limit (I could take damage, attack the enemy, have allies attack the enemy, etc.) so the 50% damage boost was always active. THIS IS NOT INTENDED. Even if only one of the effects could be active at the same time, the fact that having that combination bypasses any checks is already a bug and honestly borderline an exploit so I want to bring more attention to this.
PS: I haven't tested the Weapon and then having the Refinement on your Armor/Accessory slot as I've heard conflicting things like the effects stack if you do that or they still don't work at all.
That shouldn't be the case, at least not in all situations. It could be a bug with Veiled Thorn and that refinement since they do have the same effect, but are probably not meant to, but I have an item with the same effect that does stack.
