So the partners... [3]

I'd like to gather some opinions on the recent partners buffs, particularly those granted to 5-star controllers/vanguards.
For attack-based attackers, until now the stat buff found in attack % on 3/4-star partners was indeed 8-16%, so logically it's also found on all 4/5-star partners , so far so good.
BUT! Regarding controllers/vanguards, there is indeed an 8-16% buff on Yvonne, the level 3 controller partner , but the stat buff found in defense % on 4-star partners is not 8-16%, but rather 12-24% (Wilhelmina and Alyssa). So why not have this same base buff on 5-star controller/vanguard partners, instead of 8-16%?
Because the drop is truly steep, going from a 24% stat bonus on a level 5 4-star companion to only 8% on a level 1 5-star partner (I'm referring specifically to the new signature partners Alcea and Wilhelmina, but this also applies to Zeta, Erica, ,Eishlen, Gaya, Nyx, and Noel ).
And this is even more glaring when you consider that, compared to attack, defense also boosts base-defense damage, shields, and even healing!
Of course, this doesn't take into account the other bonuses associated with 5-star companions, nor their significantly higher ego skill. What I wanted to point out here is this slight "inconsistency" between the two stats they share.

Keep them bad so i never have to waste my energy pulling on a partner 😁
its not that theyre bad, its just thats weird for there specific 4* to have higher stat buffs than everyone else, 24% is a lot, and youre not investing on 5* partners unless youre spending money, so, they're just kept at their base ego; furthermore, you'll end up pulling them at the normal pool or youll get'em by the memory store, a 5* partner tends to be usefull once you E2 your character
i honestly think its weird, and that they should be standardized, i mean... its good to have impactfull 3*~4* partners, but its really harsh to go from 24% defense into 8%, i mean... youre not maximizing the partners passives anyways except for these said 3* and 4*
