the small patch today broke my account [3]
I logged in to the game today just before 10:00 PM US central standard time on February 5th 2026 and was prompted for a small patch. i downloaded it, logged in, and started doing my dailies. All I had done was Ark City activities like Policy Office, Excursions, and Epione Center. When I went to spend on Aether on simulation activities, I found the Save Data on my Yuki was completely changed, into something that shouldn't even be possible. Prior to todays patch, my save data did NOT have Rapid Slash or a Flowing Parry with an epiphany on it, and it DID have 3 Prepare To Subdue cards. But now today it has zero Prepare To Subdue cards, 1 Rapid Slash, and 1 Flowing Parry with the epiphany that used to be on Prepare To Subdue on it. Note that Flowing Parry is not even supposed to be a card that can gain epiphanies. this character was my main character for almost all content, with this specific save data. my save data was already working fine after the season 2 patch, and only became messed up today. upon further investigation, almost all of my damage dealing characters had their primary save data affected in this way. I found the same error on my Mei Lin, Khalipe, and Hugo as well so far. they all had important cards in their decks removed and were replaced with common cards that now have epiphanies. all on save data that i have been using for months with no issues. In all cases, the affected save data was the one i had equipped when i logged off the previous day.
when i submitted a bug report about this, the response i got was this:
"Zero Out All Despair!
Hello. This is Chaos Zero Nightmare Customer Service.
We have carefully reviewed the details you shared with us.
It appears you contacted us due to concern after noticing an unexpected change in your Save Data.
We have identified an issue where, when the Faint Memory point cap was exceeded,
a card that had not been transformed was restored instead of the base card that had been removed through transformation.
This issue was addressed earlier today through a non-maintenance patch,
and as a result, the Save Data may have appeared to change compared to before.
We would like to clarify that this change reflects the correction of the previously identified issue.
Further details can be found in the notice below:
■ [Maintenance] 2/6(Fri) Patch Notice (Complete)

We sincerely appreciate your patience while this issue was being resolved,
and we will continue working to provide a stable service environment and prevent similar issues from recurring.
We hope this explanation helps ease any concern you may have experienced.
If you have any additional feedback or questions, please feel free to contact us again at any time.
Thank you."
but my save data wasn't over the faint memory limit. i was below it, saved the data months ago, and have been using it ever since. nor was i trying to restore any cards in any way, shape, or form. and those are the only lines in the linked maintenance post that was provided me that had anything to do with save data. whatever "fix" that was implemented having to do with trying to extract with save data that is over cap or restoring cards in some way shouldn't have affected my PRE-EXISTING save data that i had before season 2 even started. your "fix" completely broke my account and i'm not convinced the person who replied to my bug report understood the situation.
NOT TO MENTION i now have basic cards on all my affected characters that have epiphanies. i shouldn't have to tell you that basic cards are unable to gain epiphanies, and yet now i have multiple characters with save data that has exactly that. instead of my carefully curated save data that i have been using both before and after the season 2 patch.
now i have a completely bricked account and an useless response from customer service.
thanks for ruining my night.

Same thing happened to my account as well, some of the basic card came back and some divine epiphany removed.
I think overall old formula cost less with the transform/removed method and for the Card with Removed. I guess we need to farm again, but luckily its easier to farm now with the selection to dup.
they did change the formula of calculating the memory limit. And if they went and retrospectively changed decks with the new card changes , it may have caused issues on finalizing the saved memory and while you'd be under the limit in the old ruleset, with the new one you were over causing saved decks adjustments. But thats just my guess
Hi,
this is big issue right now with several cases. They probably mistook this for normal exceed-limit save data issue. I will just leave a like and comment to raise their concern.
