Notice Screen "Update failed."

Hello, I'm a new player fresh out from after the newest update .

I've been getting an issue today that I don't understand what or why,

for context I played the game for around 5hours without issue on the first day I started playing, but the day after (today) when I boot the game I now keep getting this Notice screens saying "Update failed." followed by the game closing down every so often.

Anyone else having this issue? Nothing new was added to my PC since last night so I don't understand what may be causing it at all.
