Players Want Options, Not Censorship [6]
As it turns out, the majority of the players are sensible people who just want options, so give us options.
It doesn't have to be just a censored/not censored toggle. You can make brand new lobby screens for every character. Put Sereniel on the observation deck of the highest skyscraper in Ark City in a dress and windbreaker, or Nine in a martial arts Gi in a dojo (maybe). The point is that the possibilities are endless.
As for character costumes, give options with more covering (not sure about the CN version, what do they have against animal ears?) This way, those who don't want to see lewd images won't have to, and those who want to get to.
Or, you can go the censorship route. Start small like you are doing to test the waters. If you get away with it, more to follow. All to chase after a bigger and bigger player base. But it's an endless balancing act that makes no one happy. You'll have alienated the original fanbase that got you your initial success in the first place, and those calling for more censorship will never stop.
You will lose players, but as long as you gain more than you lose, right?
You will sacrifice your creative vision, integrity, and self-respect, but as long as you profit, right?
Maybe corporate greed is king, but I know which way I'd go.
P.S. Thank you for giving us back the original Nine lobby. But I think my point stands, please don’t try it again.

It's there for a reason; it attracts newer players, and keeps the vast majority who are into that sort of stuff.
I mean, where have you ever seen a "NSFW Toggle" for games? ZZZ, NIKKE, Snowbreak: Containment, and many others that has heavy NSFW content don't even have one, and those first two are really popular games. Meaning, they have more to lose if it doesn't work, but unfortunately for you, it does.
Quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of people complaining about this type of "issue" (if you could even call it that). If you don't like it, play another game. CZN doesn't have to change anything just to cater to the small minority of the game's playerbase.
On the other hand, if they added a toggle (like BD2 did before investing heavily in the NSFW route, which yielded good returns, obviously) This would also allow them to worry less and be as extreme as necessary, as well as appeal to a wider audience.
I'd prefer there to be a censorship option/toggle option. I hate how much fan service there is sometimes and I wish I could toggle it off because I find this game so much fun outside of it
agreed, im against censorship and honestly i don't mind the lewd aspects of the game, but a NSFW toggle would indeed b the best for both worlds, this would let them free to go brrr and would also please the players thats on the "prude" side
Excellent points friend, especially when considering we didn't get a full revert. What did you think about the original version vs the live on the arms/armpit detailing? Try side by siding them!
You're just looking for a needle in a haystack; they've reversed the censorship
