Regarding the improvements related to acquiring desired Epiphanies... [9]
The Devs mentioned:
"Meditation is a new function available in Safe Zones that is unlocked through upgrades.
By spending a set amount of Credits, you can re-roll Epiphany on a card that already has Epiphany.
This can be attempted in every Safe Zone you visit, with the cost gradually increasing based on the number of attempts.
In addition to resting or training, Safe Zones will now offer strategic choices through Meditation."
In addition to these features, please also increase the credits gained in event/battle areas.
Even in a full run, we barely have enough credits to use the "Delete Cards" option in the shop. And more often than not, we barely use the shop anything other than that option.
Giving us the option to reroll current card Epiphanies is cool, but if there's no increase in credits gained or giving it a reasonably price while also taking in consideration it's progressively increasing cost, it's only gonna do more harm than good.
Please consider this.

it's an overall solid idea that fixes the cost issue that comes with juggling two core mechanic at the same time—card removals and epiphany reroll.
from my experience with chaos runs, by the time i reach the final shop, im always running low on credits despite only using the currency for card removals and nothing else. granted, i seldom take any events that gives credits instead prioritizing on epiphany triggers, equipment, and card removal options.
My advice on credit:
Sell all equipment except for the character your savedata going to be saved, yeah this is still a painful part of the savedata run (Sacrificing enjoyment), but all for higher savedata tier.
Do it this way and -50% credit penalty won't be an issue.
Also, only meditate for and remove card for the character your savedata going to be saved, this also sacrifice some of the chaos run fun, all for savedata. But the game is how it is, just bear with it.
Duplicating cards will now be a lot less random, you get to choose which combatant's cards you'd want to have duplicate, and then choose 1 between 3 (CMIIW).
You don't need to delete other combatant's epiphany anymore to raise the chance of duplicating the card of the combatant you're deck farming anymore, meaning you only need to delete 3 basic card at most, which we do have delete cards event, so the flow of deleting cards will be really cheap depending on your luck.
How expensive reroll is still unknown, but I can atleast say for sure that deleting card have become less credit-consuming which lead to better economy.
tbf, the "-X% credits gained" doesnt even feel like a penaltie; so imho its okay for it to be more cripling
To be fair, it'll heavily depend on the price point of this meditation feature. If it starts cheap and progresses similarly (or hopefully cheaper) than the card removal from shops, I think we should be fine.
Gotta see the feature live before seeing if asking for an overall increase in credits awarded is needed.
It absolutely will, however, make the -X% credits gained" penalties be crushingly crippling.
Or you just learn to have better control of your econ? What are we doing here making game for babies or something?
you should focus your removals on 1~2 characters max. and theres also some events that remove cards or give you credits, there's no issues with that atm
That really only happen if you tried to make 3 decks at one time.
I was only focusing on 2 (1 if one of them have azz epip) and never really run out of credit even with -70% credit gained from battle mod. Of course Veronica really help here by reducing the card needed to be deleted (with Rei/Narja, it's even better).
The only thing that would probably useless is the training. They mention the cost would be removed but only few neutral could actually be useful. I'd rather heal & reduce stress instead and just gamba the card from shop.
you're not supposed to make 3 decks every run. just a great qol improvement.
