Bug when Acquiring a forbidden card. [1]
Often times, when I choose to take the dimensional tunnel and pick a card, and then when I beat the first boss of a dungeon, and transform the card from Dimensional Tunnel into it's Forbidden form, the card disappears and then traps me on the obtain card screen with no way to progress, it can take several restarts to fix this, and sometimes it just never fixes and I have to abandon that run, this means I essentially have to avoid ever taking the dimensional tunnel in the first half of the dungeon.
Now this is likely due to my machine being old and low-spec, but it is still a problem nonetheless.

im pretty sure its not your machine per se, since you can run the game and even battle multiple enemies i assume; dont know how to workaround this issue tho
