Can we have the older controller have the Narja treatment
When the devs design Cards for launch controller units like Cassius (Not talking about Cassius +Tressa performance), Mika, Rei, Orlea; they forgot to take into account about Stat growth, Partner, Potential, and Memory Fragment.
For example:
Mika's Whirlpool, it was a decent card when the player's overall is still under level 10, and as the player's progress their account, the card becomes a complete deadweight.
The reason is Mika has innate low ATK growth, no ATK partner (+4 or +5 ATK), and her potential and memory fragment will not be loaded with ATK, Crit, C.Dmg, Attribute damage.
When the devs design the card Whirlpool
"200% damage to all enemies
Heal 50% equal to the number of target hits."
The dev use STS rule of card scoring for uncommon card, but forgot that CZN is not STS, and that CZN has the parameters ATK, Crit, C.DMG, Attribute bonus. If this is STS then Whirlpool is a properly balanced card, but in CZN, it's awful.
Another Example:
Rei's Ego skill, Final Shadow
400% damage
1 AP
Same reason as explained before, if this is a card in STS, the ego skill cost scoring of 4 ego point is spot on.
But this is CZN, and Rei has low ATK growth, no ATK Partner (+4 or +5 ATK), Potential don't have Crit and C.Dmg.
Even if players even if player load her memory fragment with ATK, Crit, C.Dmg, Rei's damage performance will still be half assed, she will remain only as buffer, and her more own offensive Epiphanies will still be not worth using.
TLDR; the 400% damage in her ego skill is more like 150% damage when compared to another true damage dealing character.
So her actual cost of ego skill should have been 2 at best or 3 at worst.
What would fixing these do:
Promote build variety,
Ex. It would be great one day to see functional (not meme) Rei that is able to burst with her Strike of Darkness II or III. Might not be meta, but it will be fun to build and play around with.
