Wasted a day farming Serenial, and guess what I have to do it again tomorrow [7]
I mean no offence, but this game is making me sad and mad at the same time, been farming from the release of Serenial for a deck to get at least top 10% in grand rift but never got any deck with good epiphanies. Today only i played like 10 hours or more just to farm the deck but not even once i got the same epiphanies for homing laser and the upgrade together. wow game wow. also playing mei lin for like release of the game with no proper deck till now, and these youtubers playing 2-3 hours in stream and getting all the epiphanies they want also their gacha luck is crazy, I farmed like 140 pulls to get 2 copies of serenial, bruh and after all those hard work u have to build her and then farm her deck which 99% u wont get. I like playing this game but nah I'm so done.

I can totally understand where you're coming from. I'm more of a rogue-like player and focus on clearing run with random stuff for the most part and it has been very fun playing game with that mindset.
But sometimes I do fell for the trap of trying to get really good decks and the frustration started to kicks in. I tried to finalize Sereniel deck over and over to no avail. Every epiphanies weren't good enough. So Frustrating.
Then I asked myself why do I play this game, to chasing leaderboard? for what? stupid sticker?
No. I play for fun.
After retrospection, I ran full green random level 20 Amir team in lvl 75 lab 0, almost dead too many times; no heal, monster had fortitude, but finishing that run filled me with joy again I even shouted "heck yes!" after clutching on dog.
Change mindset.
Take thing like a marathon rather than 100 meters sprint.
Don't burn yourself out trying to chase good deck.
Let it comes naturally while you play the game for your own enjoyment.
That's my 2 cents :D
Holy, 10 hours???
You have to farm your deck with more time constraint per day.
10 hours a day is RIDICULOUS, of course you'd be tired??
I used to do 2-3 chaos a day which takes probably only 4 hours at max (which I was not even aiming to reach anything more than 500K points) but now I only do 0-2 chaos a day cuz I don't want to burn myself anymore though my deck still sucks.
There are still like 2 weeks before the season end?
You don't have to rush everything. Keep your deck farming at slow pace, everyone's luck is different, just make sure to not over rush everything or you'd overly exhaust yourself.
It's better to just play like 2-3 hours a day at max to keep your sanity and daily activities in tact.
Of course, the fact that we're getting into next season in only 2 weeks makes the deck you farm rn not that worth. Don't push yourself too much as you'd still farm a new one in the new season.
And really, you're not getting much from top 10%. Don't stressed it too much.
I showed my deck and my score to make it clear to you that it's not that important, you don't need to have everything perfect, it will be frustrating, it will be boring, it will be tiring.
Why go through all this when the QoL improvements have already been announced? Just wait and try to get what you can. I myself haven't farmed a good Sereniel deck yet... and... it doesn't matter, you dont need It
ofc, im chill, i wont seek for frustration and to tire myself out over a GAME, just a simples game, come on bro, 10h/day for a single deck It's going to lose importance after the season ends... tell me, is it worth it?
Yes, the deck-building system is very frustrating due to the multiple layers of RNG, but the point is: why bother ? why you need a perfect deck, tailored to bê exactly as you want ?
In my opinion, this is just asking for trouble again; you guys seem to focus too much on the 'deckbuilding' aspect and forget that it's a roguelike with lots of RNG
1. It has already been announced that in the future we will have more direct ways to customize save data.
2. The season is ending in a few weeks, is it really worth chasing the perfect deck and exhausting yourself ?
3. The only thing you get for reaching good ranks is a colorful icon; the rest isn't substantial. even at Bronze it's okay
4. The best rewards are from the weekly event, which is a cumulative points system, so even if you get 100K points per run, it's all good, as long as you get to a 500K total/week
5. OP specifically mentioned Sereniel, who, guess what? has very flexible builds; you just need to get the Shining Thing upgrad+
He is complaining about not getting the deck HE WANTS in a game that asks for save data to build specific builds for characters.
He could make builds that work, yes. but has failed to get the one he WANTS, which just goes to show how much of a hot garbage this deck-building system is.
It requires multiple layers of luck to get just ONE deck, and that's usually for ONE character. Then some characters require specific builds to be good, others have multiple viable builds for different situations (multi-hit Vs. one-huge-nuke).
Add on top of that the fact they're making the seasonal data limited to that particular season (we'll have to grind the builds for all characters all over again to use them next season) and this is all hot trash.
The more I play, the less I appreciate the game.
Shill less, please.
