aaaaand they talked s* and ran away :v lol
@Gllty you do realized people have life not like you?
S1761552060508013Actually, my life is good enough that I can spend all day playing video games and arguing with idiots on the internet if I want, lol. and you, have you realized how embarrassed you're going through and how your arguments are futile and based on nothin more than 'i dont like it' ? :c
Glltynice, a no life man then, good to know, that's why you here all the time
and no still stand my point that once they nerf something they gonna keep doing it again and again until the game going into the wrong way , meanwhile you just take it like an 1d1ot lol , well always gonna find a ****** like you in this internet
S1761552060508013dude... they LITERALLY SAID they'll keep rebalancing things 😐
to those saying they are *adjusting tressa and cassius, no, they are not - they are literally remaking them. mechanics will likely be totally different once they are done.
I don't know if they warrant such treatment because it is the system's fault to allow unlimited actions, as shown in the great rift. the dev's are just taking an easy way out because its simple to rework characters than to rework the system.
yes they will refund growth materials and allow you to edit save data with tickets, how that will playout remains to be seen. but what about materials you used to pull the characters? nothing is mentioned (tressa is also a rate up character atm, a lot of people pulled because of her to climb the ranking)
and what about mei-ling? again, nothing is mentioned... perhaps because she is a 5 stars char?
Where did you get the information that they're going to do a complete rework? And Mei Lin, as incredible as it may seem, is indeed balanced, and you have other characters that achieve similar dmg ceiling, such as Luke, Hugo, Rin, Chizuru and Kayron; and even tho, shes not BIS for every content ( as Tressa + Cassius ); have you seem the event ranking ? theres ONLY Tressa/ Cassius/Mika teams, do you think this means nothing and represents nothing ? Regarding materials, they'll probably give a universal 4* ego crystal, based on the ego level you have
Nothing has been said about Mei Lin specifically, but everything indicates that she will receive buffs or rebalancing in the less selected epiphanies, given that her 'move' one-shot build is FAR superior to the other options the character offers
Where do they talk about a full remake? (And even if they did, as long as the characters retain their identity and roleplay, there's no problem, or would you prefer the game to resort to Power Creep? )
Glltyyou don't have to be so defensive - my main point is that the characters are not to be blamed for a broken ranking, it is the system which allows this trio to top the chart. instead of reworking the characters, they should be putting more thoughts into fixing the system. cause honestly, who knows when next season comes around, players find another OP combo that tops the chart again? what are the devs gonna do then? rework another character?
In the livestream they were saying remake - so that remains to be seen what the decision is at the end. Regardless, trust is lost the first minute they decide to axe characters - they aren't saying they are nerfing them, cause they promised they wouldn't, instead sugarcoating as 'adjustment' or 'remake'.
90330644Who here is being defensive? I pointed out facts against speculation; Using the term "remake" doesn't necessarily mean a complete overhaul of the characters' kits; they could, for example, add the "Unique" tag to Shadow Reload. It's too early to assume anything; It's very childish and spoiled to want something to be immutable. Tell me, what other team can compete on equal footing with Tressa/Mika/Cassius? And even though it's OP, it's somewhat surprising that the highest SO performances are achieved with this same team, and it would be very naive to think that this means nothing; And again, they will refund everything you spent if you don't like the remakes, But preferring to continue with a cheap team that would be detrimental to the entire game just because it's an easy way to complete the challenges presented to you is quite ridiculous; I hope they don't listen to feedback from spoiled people about this; rebalancing is necessary and healthy, especially to prevent power creeping
Don't be immature, Tressa/Cassius/Mika is literally an omniteam; I doubt you'll be able to score more points in the event with a different team in the second phase; They'll probably do things like make Dice Trick Unique and maybe limit how many Shadow Daggers Tressa can generate through the upgrade OR make the card Unique as well;
Cassius, with full potential and 700 HP, can generate morale and fortitude non-stop ( Straight gives you +40% damage, Triple 0 scales literally infinitely, and he can generate enough Straight Flushes to just draw your entire deck); And Tressa is a whole other story; her Heal Daggers build completely overshadows other ways to play the characters and the other DPS characters in the game; I'm sorry if you're too limited and too attached to clearly overpowered mechanics to learn how to use something different;Furthermore, they also said that for those who don't like the changes, they will provide save data editing tickets and the option to revert the character+
+ So, considering that you can recover everything you spent, and even edit your save data for those characters if you like the changes, what's your excuse?
Understand something simple: every game that wants to remain balanced in some way NEEDS adjustments from time to time, and NEEDS nerfs from time to time; They had two options: Release characters that are as or more overpowered than the characters in question (Tressa and Cassius), OR nerf/rebalance them; and in order to avoid power creep (see HSR for example, where one release is more absurd than the next, or even E7, another Smilegate game); Reducing ceiling size and rebalancing the characters is better than going with the "if everything is unbalanced, then nothing is unbalanced" approach; big W to the company for having the maturity to understand this and choose the best option for our ecosystem as players
Gllty@Gllty "So, considering that you can recover everything you spent, and even edit your save data for those characters if you like the changes, what's your excuse? " lol it's the better than nothing mindset, you think that's enough to compe everything we play ?
they can make new bosses / new content with new gimmick , they already did it with raid boss for meilin / chizu , hsr indeed broken because the hp inflation , e7 have pvp so balancing is fine
not best for us , best for them in business perspective
S1761552060508013Once again: Do you really think the ENTIRE GAME should adapt to ONE combo, instead of adapting that same combo to the entire game?
No, it's not a "better than nothing" mentality; it's simply understanding that they are respecting your time and resources invested, and allowing you to recoup what you spent.
Well... if their business goes well, all the better for us; we'll have a game with a bigger budget and probably receive better events and content.
As they announced, to ensure relevance for the future and avoid having the same team always at the top of the ladder, it was obvious that Tressa/Casius (especially Casius) needed to be nerfed before the start of Season 2.The question remains: what kind of adjustments will they make? For Casius, limiting his morale gain (potential) to a maximum of 1 per turn on quest completion seems appropriate. Perhaps his upgrade, Dice Trick, will be unique?
And the same goes for Tressa; making Shadow Reload's upgrade unique seems like a reasonable nerf. I've already tested Tressa/Hugo/Mika builds with only one copy of Shadow Reload, and I can still easily defeat bosses with 9/9 Distortion in 3 or 4 turns.
So don't be too disappointed by the announced nerfs to Tressa/Casius; they will still be viable to play even in Season 2. They will also be more enjoyable to play and less tiring in their combos.
nerf for 4* and in non pvp game? they just nerfing coz they want to increase their sales for new chara , greedy af kr dev
S1761552060508013Of course, nerfing "f2p" characters might seem "unhealthy" at first glance, and they do it primarily to make future character sales more appealing, but try looking at it from the other perspective:
Let's say they never nerf the Mika, Tressa, and Casius team. Sure, it's a PvE game, but would you like to see this team omnipresent in the future? To know that with every new content update, this team will be able to sweep everything aside no matter what? That EVERY new character released in the future will be weaker than this team?
That would quickly become tiresome in the long run, even for you, I'm sure. And to solve this "problem," there were few options: either resort to absurd power creep to try and even come close to this combo (combo that is also extremely tiring to perform ), or nerf these two characters who overperform compared to everyone else.
S1761552060508013The game isn't PvP, but in this first season we had a ranking system, which, although not a direct confrontation, is a form of PvP; Once again, stop being a whiny brat, be more rational, and open your mind to see things differently instead of having this ridiculous attitude of "If it goes against what I want/believe then its wrong and the DEVs are demons"; What do you want? For character releases to be overshadowed by the same team, causing the game's revenue to dwindle, or for people to get tired of always having to use the same character to compete on equal footing? be my guest
MichelAnge@MichelAnge no they can make new gimmick with new bosses/ content that will make that team weaker , you dont see that meilin vero also destroying ALL content? more powerful than tressa cassius?
they did it with meilin and chizu with raid boss, and they can do that with cassius tressa team
also the main point is the nerf in pve game, if they can nerf now they gonna nerf again and again , you just dont know how greedy dev can be , once you let them they gonna continue doing it
Gllty@Gllty oh you again , good luck when they nerf lots of chara again in the future
tressa is my fave character but clearly this combo is op. it even lags the client lol
Strong ≠ OP
Right now they are OP together with healer, can combo 0 cards gazillion of times. Make sense to get nerfed.
that's ******** , shouldn't have make them like that in the first place , got nerf because we found the way to play them , ******** dev
S1761552060508013They literally said that they were rushed in launching this game hence why some of the system and character design are overlooked.
It's good that they are going to adjust some character epiphany so it wouldn't be dominated by Tressa-Cass-Mika while some other got buffed like Yuki ST build.
I dunno what's bad about this, unless you are just one of them who want to use cheap build all the time
Vyan91once they started nerf chara they gonna do it again and again , until new content need new chara , you think that's good? think again
S1761552060508013*Adjust not only nerf.
They will keep adjusting character that too OP and buff those who struggle.
And yes, it is good for the future where there will be more team build instead just Tressa-Mika-Cassius everywhere.
Do you think using the same team for years would be good ? Think again.
S1761552060508013You're just being spoiled and don't want to let go of the fact that your cheap build won't continue to have the same presence;
