We would like to provide an update regarding the Chaos progression reset error.
Following our initial notice on the 12th (Fri),
we conducted additional reviews to identify the exact cause of the issue and finalize our course of action.
We apologize for the delay in providing detailed information, as a more thorough review was required.
Please refer to the details below for what we have confirmed and our planned measures.
■ Confirmed Findings
The Chaos progression reset error has been confirmed as an issue that has occurred since the initial phase of the official launch.
We sincerely apologize that we did not identify and fix this issue sooner.
We have also confirmed that cases of Protos gaining unfair advantages through this issue
increased significantly within the Great Rift content following the December 3 update.
The current status of affected accounts is as follows,
and the relevant accounts will be excluded from the rankings and have restrictions applied to Save Data usage.

We once again sincerely apologize to all Protos for failing to identify and address this issue in a timely manner,
especially given that it affected a core system of the newly introduced “Great Rift” content.
■ Response Measures
Accordingly, we will take the following measures against Protos
who are deemed to have intentionally and repeatedly exploited this system defect
from the December 3 update until before the December 12 non-maintenance patch.
[Notice on Error Exploit Cases and Response Measures]
■ Affected Accounts: Protos who used the Chaos progression reset error five times or more from the December 3 update until before the December 12 non-maintenance patch
→ We have confirmed that this data includes cases where Chaos progression was unintentionally reset.
Therefore, please note that only cases with five or more uses will be considered deliberate abuse and subject to action.
■ Total Affected Accounts: 2,255
■ Details
- Exclusion from the current first half of Great Rift rankings
- Restriction on the use of Save Data created from the December 3 update until before the December 12 non-maintenance patch, preventing its use until the end of Great Rift Season 1
* Affected accounts may challenge the Great Rift again using Save Data that was not restricted due to this issue.
■ Implementation Schedule:Applied through the temporary maintenance on December 17
These measures are being implemented to ensure a fair gameplay environment.
We sincerely apologize to all Protos who experienced disappointment and inconvenience as a result of this issue,
