Suggestions for make memory fragments better [3]
I think these changes and additions would make the memory fragment system much better and less annoying for players.
Instead of farming equipment pieces, we could farm the materials to craft them; not only that, but we could also make multidimensional alignment easier to achieve by allowing players to craft them with cores of memory (since this would give this material a much better function than the annoying way this contributes to the levelling of pieces).
- Instead of secondary stats, there could only be primary stats that players could customise to suit each character, for example: having 3 pieces with HP or 2 with critical chance. This could obviously have limitations, such as only being able to have 3 pieces with ATK or only 3 with DEF.
- Better buffs. Currently, the pieces have poor and very specific effects. I believe that if the effects were more direct and varied, the memory fragments would be more useful and interesting.
- Special pieces would be an interesting addition. They could cost more to manufacture and be limited to one piece per character and one per team. They could have effects that help in chaos/codex, such as: chance of x event happening increases by 50%, reduce cost of ego skill, increase the chances of the piece user achieving epiphanies and many more.

I doubt they will change the current system.
Seeing the fact they design everything so players will want lots of stamina refresh, and how the devs love being antifun and antiplayer.
The grind was specifically designed so people spent on refresh.

The core of the game is chaos runs so it's really pointless to have an equipment system here, as players will spend most of their time doing chaos runs to get the perfect deck. Obviously, they shouldn't make teh gear something you craft once and forget about, but rather something that feels like progress you achieve after you've already completed everything. Anyway, I agree with you that the memory fragment system consumes a lot of energy and needs to be changed for the better.
I believe it would be very difficult for them to get rid of the substats, since that's what makes players need to farm more and more; Regarding special pieces, it would be counterintuitive with the partner system, since they already represent these "special pieces"; Also, I highly doubt they would let us customize the main attribute more than they already do, and it would be very... strict; Anyway, I agree that the memory fragment system needs changes, but I believe those changes should be more focused on cost-benefit ratio in relation to energy expenditure;
