The Reason Why You Didn't get Chizuru... 😄 (or any limited banner character)

There's a 50% chance you get a random 5 star combatant at the start of pulling cycle.

Can you see the difference between these 2 images? Yes you can, correct?

"Guaranteed 5★ combatant"
In what way does the word "5★ combatant" always spesifically refer a specific combatant?

1st image/phase = "first 5 star pulling" phase.
2nd image/phase = "after you fail getting the 5 star rated up combatant" phase.
The cycle reset everytime you get the rated up combatant.

Please, read the gacha probability system before you complain.
Recently, I've seen some people complaining as if this is a bug when it never was. If you're too lazy to read, then why don't you atleast watch a youtube video that explains it?

As you can see, at the first 70 pulls, there's a 50% chance of either getting her (rate up target) or a random 5★ combatant. Only after you failed that 50/50, you are guaranteed to get your next 5★ combatant as the rate up target (in this case chizuru).
The cycle reset everytime you get the rate up combatant.

I know I'm not supposed to put it in this report/suggestion board, but I just had too since confused people probably are searching for answer here.

@Rinkano I think I understand what you're trying to say, but hasn't it always been like that on some gacha games? Well, atleast ZZZ cuz I don't play that many gacha games.

ZZZ has it and I never really had any problem with it. I feel like It's more of marketing trick, cuz at the end of the day they're not wrong since you do get a guaranteed S-rank and you are in fact able to get the rated up character...

If you're seeing just the first image you posted, then you could read this as "Guaranteed 5 star combatant within the next 50 rescues Chiziru". So you could easily think that it's only Chiziru that is guaranteed for the next 5 star you'll get because of the composition of the image. Like I said this is misleading and can be a legal issue, if the composition leads to people getting the wrong idea, as some of them do. That's why separating the text and "Chiziru" more clearly would be legally recommended imho and my suggestion does remedy this problem legally.

@Rinkano I still don't understand what you're trying to say. What do you mean by only seeing the first banner? It says "guaranteed 5 star combatant" on the banner (yea it's on my post), is this what you're referring or is it something else?

Cause if that's what you're referring, I don't see that as problem.

The detail description ones? I also have that on my post explained? There's a difference between "rated up target" and just "target". It's a description of how the gacha system works, it is supposed to give a general explanation, not mentioning the currently rated up combatant.

Also, if you're refering to adding "A" to the word "5 star combatant", I too still have to disagree. I don't really see any difference, cuz in the end they mean the same thing.

While this make sense, once you've seen the second phase of the banner description after losing the 50-50, it does also make sense, that people do think they'll get a guaranteed Chizuru, if they only see the first banner. That's why I made the suggestion to change the localization for the first banner a few days ago. In my view, this is a legal issue (false advertisement, small print doesn't matter if main visible line doesn't refer to the small print) in some countries and thus has to be changed.

And yes, I'm not pulling heavily sexualized characters until they give us the alternative chinese skins for them as well. But the leaks show non-sexualized characters as well, so I'm looking forward to those.

@Verfilius lmao exactly the same case for me. I literally have 39 pulls left since yuki's banner with rate on. I pulled a few times on yuki's banner simply to get nia lol, a must have for a renoa main
