I like this would love this being a thing every quarter

Well, these are some very interesting stats. Great work, you're on the right track.

I've played Azur Lane, FGO, Blue Archive, Stella Sora, Silver and Blood, Echocalypse, Girls Frontline 1 & 2, Madoka Magica Magia Exedra, Genshin Impact, WuWa, Arknights, Aether Gazer, and more.

This is by far and wide my favorite gacha game ever.

Don't listen to those naysayers and people who are not your target audience.

Just keep doing what you're doing, make improvements where you can (story), and always cater to your target audience.

Thank you guys for all the hard work, time, and effort you've put into CZN. You've made one of the best gacha games ever made. Keep it up, I'm excited to see what the future brings!

Awesome! When can we expect more news about Chizuru?

Keep doing what you’re doing! Loving it so far! <3

They haven't said it here but in showroom on their main website it says they earned in those 30 days 40.2 billion Won which for todays exchange is 27,432,480 USD (27.4 million). So yea, amazing start.

<3 the statistics, the daily users number is pretty good, even though especially the pc versus mobile ratio of the game shows, that it didn't yet break out of the gacha space as much as it could. But maybe it's good to wait for the story rewrite relaunch to specifically target the cardgame/darkest dungeon enthusiasts, if the rewrite will focus more on the dark scenario, better/emotional story and feature characters on the banners that are less hen-tai inspired and more true to the scenario as well at least sometimes. Otherwise it's pretty unlikely that the agegroup 30+, women and non-heterosexual men will stick around.

I would also be interested from which countries the players are from, as well as demographic variables (agegroups, gender), as well as how many of us usually play non-gacha rpgs and cardgames rather than gachas. But I think for this, you gotta also do an in-game-survey to maybe know a little bit more about us.

Not sure where you're getting the age group thing.

The target audience are males. This isn't Love and Deepspace.

Non-heterosexual men make up less than 1% of the worldwide population. Not much point in catering to them, especially when that would take up a banner slot.

CeiisI do get target-groups; but I would consider it likely that this game does not only appeal to the target group they had for it on launch day (only male, as everyone is called "Sir", teenagers, people that like to see objectified women). Although it's interesting that the starting characters aren't all women and aren't all over-sexualized at all, so it's likely that their target audience policy actually changed during production.

About non-heterosexual men in the population: you should go and ask google about it, as your estimation is incorrect ;)

Limiting the target population too much is a mistake that can happen when building a product, it's just relevant to open it up, if you can actually satisfy a wider population instead and I personally do see huge potential for this game to do exactly that because of it being a very good cardgame with darkest dungeon vibes. And for both of those the interested audience is just very different than only teenage boys.

RinkanoI'm not talking about the US or what have you. I'm taking about the worldwide population.

Love and Deepspace is hugely successful, and caters to women.

This game is made for men. They have a 4.6/5 (9.2/10) rating with over 100,000 reviews on the Google Play Store alone, and as the graphic shows over 1 million daily users. The game is flourishing and their target audience is happy.

Clearly, a game doesn't need to appeal to everyone to be a massive success.

In fact, often times with a developer tries to appeal to everyone and offend no one, they end up tying themselves into knots, offending everyone, and appealing to no one or a very small sect, resulting in failure.

Look, enjoy the game or not. But don't expect them to change the game for you or for them to lose money. They struck gold, and now their job is to keep chasing that vein. Meaning, keeping their paying customers happy.

CeiisI agree with you that the game doesn't have to cather to everyone. What I'm saying is that we already have a significant player base that plays the basegame that isn't the target audience due to the starting cast being diverse and the scenario/cardgame and they can grow it even more, by not just hard-focusing on the booba players.

I also rated the game 5 stars, but for the cardgame and the starting cast, not for the current banners direction. And the devs would be smart to actually check both their current playerbase for this as well as their growing potential.

Look, I'm not saying that they should stop producing characters like Yuki. I'm saying they should continue to make banners that are -like the starting cast- not only women, not only sexualized, but instead weird and interesting fitting to the scenario while being fun to play. Then everyone can be happy.

The fact that the most character with affinity 10 is Yuki while the most owned character is Haru is very telling.

There is only 1 reason why 😏

Actually 2 BIG reasons..

Also there are way too many subjugation failed and Combatant suffered Trauma because some players did "farm" it for counseling session achievements...

Well all know why "subjugation" failed way more than successful one, when it's relatively easy to beat the run.

Those cheeser that deliberately escape the run to get the cheese card set up especially with MeiLin 😂 😂. With the non-Epiphany trick and such.

And that many combatant goes to trauma because the dumb trauma focus point mechanic exist, idk if that mechanic or bug. Many player report it, but it seems that FUN mechanic still there 🤦‍♂️. Then you need to spend 30k credit or 30 crystal at Epitome because of this really FUN mechanic.

Please fix it if it's a bug man. I'm sure it's has something to do with heal+trauma interaction (heal -trauma with trauma every turn and trauma hit from enemy), it's there from day-1 man...
