Mei Lin needs a nerf [9]

A character that can deal 40k+ in a turn is very unhealthy for the game, making all future characters obsolete. Need to nerf her epiph card that stacks  from her passion hits, rising dragon kick or w/e

This is a very specific setup, and it requires a lot of card drawing and some AP generation (things that will always be meta). Just as they don't intend to nerf the Cassius Tressa and Mika team, they probably won't nerf Mei Lin because of a specific combo, And just because you can deal 40k damage with her doesn't mean the other characters are obsolete, as long as you have good synergy and can consistently deal damage.

Kayron, Luke and Beryl also have OTK potencial, you just need the proper setup. Even cassius, mika, tressa can OTK. In my opinion, there is no need to nerf anyone.
what you need(you especifically) is to look at your characters and try something creative. Have fun with the game, instead of trying to get the fun out of it.

40k? How about 60k+ in the very first turn? ;)

Is it unhealthy? Yes. Does she needs a nerf? Nope. The other 5* needs a buff to perform on the same level.

They made a commitment to not nerf anyone. Instead, they should increase the difficulty, and subsequently have newer characters perform similarly to Mei Lin, Kayron ,etc in terms of scaling. 


Players who argue that it's a "specific build" are missing the point. The fact that it's possible, is the problem. I have Mei Lin, Kayron, and recently my Luke, built, and with a few runs in chaos you can have a build where they hit for well over 20k a turn. My Kayron with a little setup can hit for 70k+. The developers shouldn't allow these characters to scale this much, while simultaneously releasing newer characters that can't even break 10k. It's bad for business and also gameplay wise, there's no incentive to get newer characters, other than for aesthetics. With Mei Lin, you beat the game, pretty much.

Definitely agree not because people abuse it but because it's undermine other 5* Agents. This game become Chaos Cheese Nightmare with this MeiLin + Veronica bs. 


Also, people who say it's hard to get this combo, like, come on bro. It's hella ez if you know the trick. Also, like other player mentioned, the +1 hit on combo without a cap is literally make this combo hella broken. 


The nerf should be the cap on particular effects such as +1 hit or the no shuffle in during play turn. 


But this game is still new and single-player base game which it didn't do obvious harm in gameplay. While it's kind of cringe these cheese combo exist, it didn't effect others which is still tolerable. 


Also, 40K is cute number with the this combo. You can literally do infinitely scale with this cheese.

Maybe you shoule let new players enjoy before nerfing anything. Go play smt else if you cheese the game

it's a very long turn though if you wanna do that which is only possible with cracked drawing supporter decks, she needs no nerf but a direct cap to the limit of this effect or the whole drawing meta needs to change but not mei lin

Or give bosses mechanics that prevent them from dying in one turn. Something like, for every 20% HP loss, gain 20 stacks of fortification.
