Rotting System of Stove on Crossfire

Accounts can now have their passwords changed simply by changing the Gmail address, with absolutely no verification at all. Why would Stove even do this? They completely stripped away account security. Before, you at least needed to know the original Gmail linked to the account to change it, but now that safeguard is gone. Because of this brain-dead decision, hackers can steal accounts effortlessly. Stove’s security is weak as hell.

As for banning, the GMs don’t even bother doing proper investigations anymore. They instantly ban accounts the moment a report includes a video or a screenshot, without any critical review or verification. This system is beyond stupid compared to how things were back in GameClub days. GMs nowadays are straight-up incompetent, not gonna lie. Instead of fixing security issues and protecting players’ accounts, they waste time pumping out events while the system continues to rot.

tried to change my email a few minutes ago and it required the OTP that was sent to that registered email. Will do a record for that later to prove it.

nope once they know your user and pass they can easily change your email

Atria99verified accounts using "Stove App" are provided with OTP to continue logging in. Maybe you are referring to those accounts not using the "Stove App" authenticator.

Atria99what do you mean? i went to my account settings and the feature to change email is there. also if I try to change my password it needs an OTP from my registered email first.
