NERF Special Punch for VIP Characters [5]
Melee Mode has always been one of the most popular and skill-based parts of Crossfire PH with its own dedicated community, and while normal melee weapons require timing and positioning to win trades, the punch attack from certain VIP/VVIP characters can currently be spammed without meaningful drawbacks or animation recovery, making it far stronger than ordinary melee attacks and disrupting the balance of melee combat where timing and counterplay should matter; unlike other VIP abilities that have limitations or lock movement, this punch technique lets players cancel animations, maintain mobility, and effectively outclass VIP and non-VIP weapons in melee duels, which feels unfair and makes other melee weapons seem underpowered in comparison, so I’d like to suggest the devs consider tuning it by increasing recovery time, adding a brief movement or animation delay, or otherwise limiting spam potential so that melee combat remains fun, fair, and skill-based for everyone.

Ever felt unfair think about Blade Knuckles VIP is being overrated low brainer melee weapon of all time. Even Furious Kick requires 2-3 Hits to take down armor wearing players.
the balance was thrown out the window the moment they introduced knuckles lmao, get roxana or alex.
Knuckles specially the bladed one still have timing, recovery, and you can outplay them if you read the swing.
However, the special punch especially from Infinity characters is way different. There's basically no room for counters. It can be spammed to cancel attack animations thus reducing the attack window from enemies which makes counterplay almost useless, you're mostly just hoping their punch or weapon doesn't hit you and at that point it feels more like luck than skill, with very little room to properly counter it.
It straight up beats every melee weapon. Even the furious kick was more bearable, because after the kick there was a clear moment where you couldn't move, so there was actual risk and counterplay.
And saying “just get Roxana or Alex” kinda proves the issue. You shouldn’t need a specific character just to not get decimated.
Knuckles raised the bar, yeah, but this punch removes counterplay. That’s the real problem.
S1746634964613010it's an infinity char bro, it's supposed to be broken or unfair, same with infinity weapons.
Thank you for the suggestion. Rest assured that it will reach our game developers for review.
