[Guide] Auto Patcher Error |Failed to Update |Crossfire is Running |CRC Error
Troubleshooting "Failed to Auto-Update" or "Crossfire is already running" Error or "CRC Error"

If you are experiencing a "Failed to Auto-Update" or "Crossfire is already running" error, please follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Fix 1: Clear Backup and Restart
- Delete your backup folder. The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Crossfire PH

- Restart your computer.
- Run the client again using the Stove Launcher or Patcher_32.exe.
Fix 2: Change DNS Settings
If Fix 1 does not resolve the issue, please proceed with Fix 2.
- Change your DNS to Google's Public DNS.
- Follow the instructions for your operating system:

- Windows 11: https://tinyurl.com/Win11-GoogleDNS
- Restart your computer.
- Run the client again using the Stove Launcher or Patcher_32.exe.
Fix 3: Reinstall the Game Client

- Download the latest client from the official website: https://cfph-installer.game.onstove.com/CFPH-Download
