[Notice] Game Overview โ LootMage [5]
Hello! I'm CurlyMango, a solo developer currently working on LootMage. LootMage will be featured in Indie Boost Lab for two weeks starting from June 30. Before the event begins, let me give you a quick introduction to the game. [Notice] LootMage โ IndieBoostLab Recap & Winners [2]
Hello, this is CurlyMango, the developer of LootMage. Thanks to the IndieBoostlab event, many players had the chance to experience LootMage, and I received a wealth of thoughtful and valuable feedback. This has helped me clearly identify which areas to improve and refine before the official release, and it has given me tremendous motivation as a developer. I'd like to share with you the improvements already in progress, as well as the future plans based on your feedback. ๐ Key Improvements Tutorial Overhaul The tutorial flow has been adjusted so players can naturally progress through each step one by one. User Convenience & UI Enhancements We're working to ensure that the UI displays properly on various resolutions beyond the standard 16:9. Also, the in-village menu now shows a โReturn to Main Menuโ button instead of โReturn to Village.โ Bug Fixes We're fixing several reported issues, including input errors during loading, icon display problems, burn damage bugs, and typos. ๐ฎ Developme

[MyLootingList] A list of rooting techniques focused on induction and stamina [1]
I defeated the boss on my third try. ใ กใ ก I was able to catch it in the first round, but I lost focus when it landed the final blow and died along with the boss. ใ ใ I tried to get a lot of items that increase stamina and improve recovery. I made mistakes occasionally, so I was most disappointed with my physical strength. At first I used to use Arc Duplicate Even if you attack a lot, it's useless if you miss. Arc - Changed to tracking and beat the boss thanks to it. There were many attacks that missed by a hair's breadth, but the tracking guidance function made the game much easier. For those who are a bit older and have poor reflexes or have trouble aiming accurately and quickly, I recommend developing Arc-Tracking first. Melee weapons have good damage but lack reflexes. I felt burdened by the hit-and-run playstyle, so I mostly just used long-range attacks. Especially against the final boss, fighting with a melee weapon felt almost like jumping into a pit of fire. The game's convenience and simplicity of many systems allowed me to focus on battles. The reinforcement system seemed simple at first, but it had tactical depth, as you could enhance elements of combat (ranged, melee), defense, and recovery depending on the choices you made. Increase the rate of fire from the Arc Reinforcement and increase mana recovery to fire fireballs without stopping. You can also try to increase critical and add projectiles to create powerful multi-hit attacks. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the official release.

[MyLootingList] My Rooting List [1]
I was able to clear it easily thanks to items that increase the critical hit chance, defensive items, and evasion rate items that occasionally help you dodge attacks, as well as items that increase damage. And I strengthened the Arkstone by increasing the number of spheres, so I was able to double the critical hit on the boss with two spheres, and I was able to clear it easily! It was very good!

[FreeTalk] Questions about Taboo and Recovery Synergy [3]
I wrote it in the survey, but I'm curious so I'm leaving a comment. Regarding the taboo synergy, I tried several times to fill the 4 taboo slots, but I kept failing. For Taboo 4, 'Health decreases continuously. Damage increases by 50%.' I'd like to know more about whether it continues to decrease until HP reaches 1, whether it never drops below a certain level, or whether this synergy allows HP to reach 0 and faint. Which one does it correspond to? And in the case of recovery synergy, it is an effect where health is slowly recovered when it falls below a certain health %. I am also curious about how it is reflected when a 4-slot taboo synergy and a 2-slot or 4-slot recovery synergy occur together.

[MyLootingList] Boss Clear! [2]
Manastone came in right after clearing the boss fight, so I used rapid fire, but when clearing the boss fight, I used tracking and cleared it. I died before reaching the boss room on the first try, cleared the second try but didn't capture it so I had to clear the third try again... It was really fun to get the synergy of the imprints. However, I think there is a bit of a problem with the boss battle. As I mentioned on the store page, when the boss fires an area-of-effect projectile, if you are far away, the boss's projectile will disappear without reaching the end, but the character's attack projectile will reach the boss, allowing you to hit it with a single shot when the boss fires an area-of-effect projectile. That's why it felt incredibly easy. And as additional weapons, I got a wooden club in the second turn, and a bow and steel sword in the third turn, but it was a bit disappointing that they had less merit in use than a staff. In the case of a bow, there was also a firing delay.

[MyLootingList] Clear Complete [1]
I picked up a bow and chose to duplicate it with a mana stone, but instead of two appearing on the target I aimed at, it spread out in both directions, so it felt like a debuff. Still, the difficulty wasn't that hard, so I cleared it while adjusting my aim.. ' ';

[MyLootingList] Cleared [1]
From the beginning, when lightning strikes and you can choose items as much as possible, raise your vision. I was trying to secure mana recovery and luckily it worked out just right I tried strengthening the weapon, but the critical hit damage increased, so I was lucky enough to have the Tracker 2 set option.

[MyLootingList] I'm participating in the event [1]
In the first round, I suddenly encountered a boss right at the beginning, so I cleared it with just a pistol without any weapon enhancement or other weapons... I also cleared it with about four artifacts. Even though it was written in the notice, I stupidly went in without even taking a screenshot ๐ฅ So... I woke up again!! With the 3 mana stones I received as a prize, I was able to clear the level more easily by adding +2 projectiles and +1 guidance. I completed one more mana stone in the mob battle to get +1 reflection, and used money to add +1 weapon enhancement to the basic staff. Actually... Personally, I think the basic pistol that minimizes mana consumption is the best, and since you can use it without any burden, it might be the strongest in terms of total DPS.

[MyLootingList] My rooting list?! [1]
It's not visible;;;; No, this was the boss?!!! I thought it was a mid-boss;; Anyway, the item itself doesn't really mean much. The wand was an ice wand, but it slowed down the opponent and fired 3 basic projectiles. If you put 2 points in induction in passive skills, you can almost always use induction attacks, so you can use a shotgun. However, since the mana consumption is high, it would be good to farm to increase mana regeneration in the latter half.

[MyLootingList] Cleared it! [1]
The arc system has increased projectiles, so you can feel the strongest increase, and it is placed first in the UI. I think it's because it's the beginning of the demo, but I've only gathered a little bit of the recovery part, but I don't know how it feels. Haha I got a weapon that shoots lightning and water droplets, but I ran out of resources;; so I cleared it with the basic weapon.

[MyLootingList] Cleared with three weapons: wand, sword, and bow. [1]
Since it was easy to clear, I tried fighting bosses with various concepts. (I had an axe too, but it didn't come out so I gave up..) The wand is just okay I used a black steel sword and during my first try, I was in close combat so I was low on stamina. We have focused our investments on recovery. The bow is just a really good item. To be honest, I used the wand to clear the level with a knife just to deal with the trash mobs. It's not that you can't catch them at all, but as you can see in the middle, if the boss keeps summoning them and they start to pile up, it's not impossible to deal with them. It was quite uncomfortable, so I just grabbed it with a wand, but I might get hit a few times. ใ The gameplay was like Dark Souls, where you slowly hit one enemy at a time, dodge, and use your recovery ability to survive when hit. The bow was easy to deal with because the items came out so well.

[MyLootingList] I'm participating in the clear event [1]
Arc setting increased tracking by 1, and the item combination was made up of 4 items: Tracker, Recovery, and Nature to create a synergy effect. It feels like it's focused on increasing induction and damage / increasing health and enhancing recovery. I cleared the level by dashing, evading far, and sniping from a safe distance. It was fun to play.

[MyLootingList] I'm participating in the event [1]
I tried to defeat the demo boss with various weapons. When playing with the bow weapon that was used to defeat the boss for the first time I had the most fun so I'm uploading a screenshot from that time. (I used to use a staff as my basic weapon, but after the bow came out, I only used the bow ) When attacking a monster that shoots an arrow, you should shoot the arrow at the enemy and dodge almost immediately to avoid being hit by the enemy's attack. The moment I equipped the bow weapon, it felt like one more parrying pattern was added to the existing game. At first, I couldn't adapt and died a few times, but as I continued to do it, avoiding it became fun. Manastone enhancement increased replication by 1 and tracking by 1. I raised the copy 1 first and the arrows spread out to both sides, so I was confused, but I raised the tracking during the next reinforcement and it was restored. Eat items that increase stamina and have a recovery 2 passive skill It helped me a lot in catching the boss Nature 1 Tree Spirits are also good at catching regular monsters, so it was secretly good.
[MyLootingList] Cleared again [1]
This time, I'm wearing a new green weapon and I'm using all the money I have to strengthen my weapon + I'm using the remaining money to put it on my monkey's hand(?) I've gotten it a lot easier than before since I've increased the carbon count x3 + reflection + a bit of induction. Instead, since there were more bullets to shoot, the magic power was consumed faster, so I had to take a break between shots. Since it's a rogue-lite, the map structure is different from before.
[BugReport] I'm reporting. [1]
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I'm reporting it. In the tutorial map After going to the village through the guide and talking to the NPCs I saw a guide portal at the bottom left, so I went in. (The screen flickered slightly as I went back and forth while thinking about whether to go in or not.) I came to the tutorial map but I don't know how to get to the town. I went through the tutorial again and it went normally and I was able to return to the village. When I came to the village, I saw that the guide was a portal that taught me how to fight. Even if you use the portal, you can still enter by mistake, so it would be good to also give the option to return to the village right away.

[MyLootingList] I'm participating in the clear event. [1]
Clear certification shot + Increase the number of derivatives by 1 In the current version, rather than building the build as you want, I felt like I had to be somewhat proactive in building it based on the passives dropped from the first 2-3 items. The box you get when clearing the battle room is not in the form of a choice, but rather drops only one randomly, and it is expected that there will be 1~2 per stage. Even in the easy multiple choice room, if the desired trait wasn't there, I had to pray for an item with the trait I wanted to appear. So, I thought I should clear it safely since the characteristics were focused on utility, and I tried to focus on survival as much as possible. However, because I was too focused on utility, my mana was depleted quickly and I couldn't attack, so I had to watch the patterns more, which made it feel more difficult.
